If It’s Thursday, It Must Be Sevilla

We have made it to Sevilla.  Three jumbo suitcases, two carry-on bags, two computer bags — and all on wheels, thankfully.  I wish Jerry and I had wheels as well — and someone to push/drag us.

FLAMENCO WEDNESDAY NIGHT IN MALAGA.
AT AN EXCEPTIONAL RESTAURANT (DESPITE BEING TOURISTY), VINO MIO.

We’ve been at our hotel about an hour.  It feels great to be back, even if it is 104 degrees Fahrenheit (40 degrees Celsius).

AN OLD OLIVE PROCESSOR ALONG THE WAY TO SEVILLA.

The hunt for a place to live begins tomorrow.  The naps begin NOW!

ACRE UPON ACRE OF SUNFLOWERS.
I THOUGHT OF ASKING THE ENGINEER TO STOP SO I COULD GET A CLEAR SHOT.

  1. Hello Mitch:
At last! How wonderful that you have arrived safe and sound and the next stage of your life adventure can begin.

Similar temperatures here in Budapest so do not try to do too much in the heat. Do as the locals do……..have a siesta!!

  2. J&L: Just had our siesta. We're good at it. Almost dinner time.

Peter: Ugh. Heat and humidity (and spectacular sunshine) definitely sounds better than that. I feel for you!

  3. Craig: Thanks! Went out for dinner at 10 (22:00… have to remember that 24-hour clock). A beautiful night for a walk. Siesta is definitely a good idea.

    LisaAnn: Thanks. Another excellent adventure!

  4. This is getting really exciting now. But what I'm waiting for most of all is some hot pics of handsome, dusky, (male) natives. I've always felt that Spanish men have an 'electricity' about them that other Mediterraneans seem to lack. (I'm allowed to say that as I'm 1/4 Portuguese!) But get yourself settled in first and continue to keep us informed of your progress, as you are doing so admirably now.

  5. Greetings from Finland. This, through a blog is a great get to know other countries and their people, nature and culture. Come take a look Teuvo images and blog to tell all your friends that your country flag will stand up to my collection of flag higher. Sincerely, Teuvo Vehkalahti Finland. PS. USA ha ido a España a lo largo. Un par de visitas en España, que España necesitaba volver verdad.

  6. Well, Mitch (re your response to my to comment above) I shall be avidly studying all background figures to any pics of street scenes etc that you're going to post for us.
Btw You'll make me especially happy if you decide NOT to attend any 'bullfights', though naturally that's got to be your decision alone.

  7. Scott: Jerry and I are already perfecting our skills at siesta… and awesome food. I'm not a big fan of sangria, but may have to give it another try now that were here. I love the shameless plugs! Tomorrow (well today already) might be a good day to get caught up on your posts!
