I know. I know. The head bone is not really connected to the stomach bone. I think the head bone is actually connected to the neck bone, but I majored in Art. I did take plenty of art students’ anatomy classes and I did work in Medical Illustration for a while, but I don’t remember all the parts and their order.

I mentioned earlier in the month that 1 November was the Dia de Todos Los Santos (All Saints Day) and that I hoped to sample Huesos de Santo (Saint’s Bones). The pastries, not the relics. I didn’t get around to looking for the sweets before the holiday, but the other day I happened to find some in a wonderful bakery not far from home. I bought four. Saint’s Bones are delicious and they are now directly connected to the stomach bone.
Is the entire outer part of the huesos de santo made of marzipan? If it is then I'm in – I love marzipan!
And what's more I have interrupted AGA's harpsichord playing by listening to your video of 'Dry Bones' turned up very loud. . .

At first I thought they were haddock fillets!! And I thought stuffed with marzipan? Now what is San Geraldo up to! lol

The head bone is directly connected (in men) to another bone, not the one in the stomach.

Eating pastries shaped like bones seems pretty gory to me. But then, I guess eating chocolate-covered marshmallow Santas and reindeer isn't much better. Enjoy "dem bones"!

I've seen pictures that show some slightly more attractive presentations. But, no matter what, they definitely taste better than they look.
Marzipan is my crack. When eventually visit, make sure these are in the pantry. xox

That's a beautiful altar.

Thanks so much for visiting and commenting. That altar is in the 13th-century cathedral in Arcos de la Frontera. The main part of the altar itself is from the 8th century. It's an amazing structure with some other really beautiful altars and chapels.
Looks like Cheese Blinzes. So whats going on for Thanksgiving in Spain? Do they have a Thanksgiving? Beautiful alter. Just watched a Tv show on Gaudy the architect. Great buildings. Be well.
