  1. Took me a little time for brain to work out 'friend' above, but got there. As long as Dudo finds the sun to luxuriate in, what does anything else matter?

I've borrowed Dudo's name to give to one of three new visitors who clear up the remainders left by my two residents and the two wannabe-residents, who come in every day now. I've named this new trio – 'Sooty' (for obvious reasons), 'Toffee'……and 'Dudo'. The last is actually a tortoise-shell so most likely to be a 'she' – who always scampers away like greased lightning whenever I approach. But it's a perfect pussycat name, so thanks for the idea.

    1. Raybeard:
I love it. Dudo in Spanish means "doubt." You can always call her Duda (but then in English that sounds like doo-dah, doo-dah)! So, maybe stick to Dudo. Given his/her "doubts" about your approach, it's a perfect fit.

  2. Of course, 'DudA' it will be from now on. Or at least until I can confirm its gender – and if it turns out to be M, though very unlikely, then I'll just have to switch back again. Thanks!
