Our friends Pedro and Kathleen invited us to dinner Friday night — for beef stew by Pedro and apple pie by Pedro and Kathleen.
The stew was of course delicious; because Pedro made it. Pedro also made the pie filling but he told us Kathleen had outdone herself with the crust and that it was blog-worthy. However, when Kathleen presented the pie, she wouldn’t let me photograph it first. I had to wait with San Geraldo. Oh, baby! Three-year-old Luke is going to be a big brother! San Geraldo is going to be an uncle again and I’m going to have another pal!

Nuestros amigos Pedro y Kathleen nos invitaron a cenar el viernes, para el estofado de carne de Pedro y la tarta de manzana de Pedro y Kathleen.
El estofado era, por supuesto, delicioso; porque Pedro lo hizo. Pedro también llenó el pastel, pero nos dijo que Kathleen se había superado con la corteza y que era digno de un blog. Sin embargo, cuando Kathleen presentó el pastel, no me dejó fotografiarlo primero. Tuve que esperar con San Geraldo. ¡Oh bebé! ¡Luke, de tres años, va a ser un hermano mayor! ¡San Geraldo volverá a ser tío y yo voy a tener otro compadre!
