I have so many butterflies to share from the Butterfly Park in Benalmádena (the city just east of us) that I’m not going to say much today. (You’re welcome.) It wasn’t easy getting the perfect shot. They’re so flitty. Some settled down. Some did not. Others I caught while they were just emerging from the chrysalis.

The variety is amazing. There’s one kind I that wasn’t there this some that looks like the wings are made of stained glass! And they’re not shipped in. They all come to live right before your eyes.
No such thing as too many butterflies! I am fortunate that many of the ones you showed are native to Belize, so I have the pleasure of seeing them fairly often. Never get tired of them.

Reminds me of the Butterfly Abortorium I went to in Hershey. There are so many they fly all around you. You got some beautiful pictures.

Lovely flutterby’s. Wait, that apostrophe doesn’t seem right. But neither does “flutterbies.” Or “flutterbyes.” Oh, now I have to deal with THIS all day.

A butterfly park? How does that work exactly? Does someone stock it with butterflies? Anyway, some beautiful pictures.

In other butterfly exhibits I’ve been to, most of the butterflies are shipped in with a few chrysalises (chrysalides) on display. This place “grows” all their own! I’ll soon share a picture of the building exterior. It’s a beautiful building, but they didn’t give much thought to exterior photos when they posted signs and other “crap.”
