I’ll Just Watch / Sólo Voy A Ver

La versión español está después de la versión inglés.

THERE WAS ANOTHER exercise group on our beach Saturday morning. Fuengirola Moves (click here) will soon be finished. The most recent group was from Crossfit Fuengirola. The workout can be fun and tough, but I’m not a fan. Among other things, my sense is that, except for serious athletes and those readily committed to working out, it’s not a routine that most people can stick with for long. That being said, it was still fun to watch before I went for coffee. And there were some nice sights. Even Dudo, who pretended to not be interested, could be found later peering through the drain hole.

A break for a refreshing dip in the Mediterranean Sea.
Un descanso para refrescarse en el mar Mediterráneo.
And then back to work.
Y luego volver al trabajo.

  1. As anyone that knows me can readily testify,I am a fitness fanatic! It has been a source of great sadness that I was otherwise engaged when these displays of health and strength were being showcased

    1. Tynan:
I was surprised to not find you there and actually did a double-take when I saw the guy in the Speedo. Except for the beard, the spitting image!

    1. anne marie:
Not bad. Not bad. You should see what I see on my walks most days!

  2. Dudo is merely copying his daddy. lol
THAT was a serious workout! Wondering how they will feel tomorrow?

    1. Jim:
There have been stories of health issues due to crossfit workouts. Not for the faint of heart… or even the normal heart, I think.

    1. Ron:
Oh, I just looked out on the beach and, let me tell you, black Speedos do NOT ALWAYS look mighty fine (to me, at least).

    1. Parsnip:
It was only in the high 70s but that feels warmer here. Then again, we’ve got the sea (which is always too cold for me)!

  3. These weird exercise cults disturb me:) If I wasn’t such a semi-recluse, I’d probably stand in front of a group like this while chomping on a whopper and fries. i do have an evil streak .

    1. Deedles:
I love to exercise. Seriously love it. But, I agree about these exercise cults. I suppose if you can’t motivate yourself, some of these programs help. I’m glad they enjoy them, but definitely not for me.

    1. Debra:
I make jokes about going for coffee, but I do actually love to exercise. AFTER coffee I either do an exercise walk or work out. After lunch, I do whichever I didn’t do after coffee.

    1. David:
He might need some help with that scrubbing. The nearby shower didn’t do the trick.

    1. Walt the Fourth:
To be honest, I do love to exercise and walk AND workout daily. But I have to have my coffee first!

    1. Kirk:
Yep, weight plates. And obviously heavy ones. A couple of people had a hard time controlling theirs. Chin bumps were the worst I saw that day, but it could be really dangerous.
