Fashionable Friends / Amigos de Moda

La versión español está después de la versión inglés.

MY PAL LUKE brought his parents over yesterday to spend the afternoon at our pool. Pedro was sporting the latest Fuengirola fashion and was happy to strike a pose (or three). Luke had a bit of Fuengirola style going on, as well, which resulted in father and son having a showdown in the pool. But I think Kathleen was the big winner of the fashion show.

.

“I can’t believe I have six more weeks!”
“¡No puedo creer que tengo seis semanas más!”

.

Every girl wants a man with a farmer’s tan (like Pedro’s).
Cada chica quiere un hombre con un bronceado de granjero (como Pedro).

  1. I know this has been said many times before, but that is one adorable family! I’ve never heard of this musical but it sounds like I would like it a lot.

    1. Deedles:
Pump Boys was entertaining and there are a few fun songs. “I Need a Vacation” and “Tips” were two of my faves. And, yes, that family. I spent the day with them again today. I am SO glad Kathleen found us!

    1. Judy:
Thanks on their behalf! I’m so excited to soon have another playmate.

  2. It seems Pedro reads your blog. Next up is him wearing flowers and plaid/camo at the same time

    1. Cheapchick:
Oh yeah. The first thing Pedro wanted to do was do a Fuengirola fashion pose. (But I don’t think I’ve ever seen him wear anything with patterns. These trunks are as close as he’s gotten.)

  3. pedro = muy caliente! (rawr)
luke is totes adorbs as always; LOVE the floaties!
kathleen – girl is ready to pop NOW!

Yes to Pedro and Luke. And, yes, to Kathleen. They didn’t plan very well. Who wants to be 9-months pregnant in August?

    1. Jim:
it was another perfect afternoon, and it’s so entertaining to watch Luke and Pedro play. What an amazing family.

    1. David:
One of these days I’ll be able to ask someone. Some guys look unapproachable and others I’d be afraid of offending or embarrassing. I’m waiting for one of our acquaintances to be caught like that.

    1. Jenny Woolf:
Welcome to Moving with Mitchell! Yep, here in Los Boliches for more than 6 years. A surprisingly nice place to live. Hope you enjoyed Semana Santa (did you get to Málaga for any processions?). We’re looking forward to our favorite holiday on the 16th when they process the Virgin of Carmen and then carry her into the sea at midnight … with fireworks above.

  4. I’d be happy to be Luke’s grandma so he can bring me along for an afternoon at the pool. Looks luscious.

    Love,
    Janie

    1. Janiejunebug:
Luke constantly amazes me! But you should have seen his face wen another family arrived at the pool (briefly). Shocked. I got the impression he was thinking this was my (and therefore his) private pool.

    1. Adam:
It’s probably less than 4 more weeks really, but sure does look like a lot of baby!

  5. Such a doll for thinking of me. I see you and Kathleen have been holding out on me by hiding Pedro’s swoon worthy body!!!!! My my my my my. And she is radiant in that picture, and no child cuter at the moment then Luke. I bet he is going to be wily when he’s older.

    1. Mistress Maddie:
I thought it was very generous of Pedro to share and knew you wouldn’t want to be left out.
