On the Road Again / De Nuevo en la Carretera

La versión español está después de la versión inglés.

IT’S 6:15 IN the morning and we’re in our rental car for the 2-hour drive back to the airport in Evenes. From there we’ll fly to Oslo where we have an all-day layover, which enables us to meet cousin Hanna-Beate for lunch. Another great treat. What a time we’ve had in Norway, embraced by the beautiful countryside and family. And to think next week I head on my own to New York to visit The Kid Brother! Oh, it has finally stopped raining. As you can see by the photos, San Geraldo is ready for some sunshine. I’m not taking any chances.

.

No me estoy arriesgando.

  1. Oh, the hardships of travel. Not being able to see one’s waffle for the toppings. Slicing one’s own fruit. Hurry back to civilization!

    1. Walt the Fourth,
Thank you for appreciating our suffering. I even had to peel back the skin before eating Arctic Char. Twice! And I had to assemble my own tacos at our cousins’ house!

    2. That sydvest (the rainhat) sure looks good on you Mitch, and the sunglasses on Jerry……..no coments

      1. Elin:
I would have said just the opposite. We miss you all! Come to Spain… once I’m back!

    1. Anne Marie,
Normal large glasses make me look like an insect. But Jerry was stylin’. His cousin Marita (the owner of The glasses and the hat) looked good in them. She could carry off anything! Moose and Dudo are SO happy… and they’re going to be so UNhappy come Wednesday. Good thing Jerry is staying home this time.

  2. Are the sunglasses are proportional to he shoe size? Enjoy the travels. I was going to ask if you were going to be home for the finish of the Vuelta a Espana, it finishes next weekend. We have had good TV coverage this year, wonderful looking countryside. The adventure of Spain is calling me.

    1. David,
This normal sunglasses are proportional to shoe size. These were big even for Jerry. I’ll be in NY as of Wednesday! I don’t plan to leave Spain at all in October.
