Castle on a Cloud / Castillo de Cristal (en una Nube)

La versión español está después de la versión inglés.

ON MY WALK home the other evening from seeing some of the holiday adornments in Fuengirola, I was stopped by a beautiful sunset. The photo above is looking to the west before I headed for home along the beach. The moon was already up and peaking through the clouds as they swirled across the sky. It made me melancholy.

.

Me puso melancólico.

.

First in English, then in Spanish.

Primero en inglés, luego en español. En inglés, la canción se llama “Castillo en una Nube.”

  1. The power of the universe can envelop us with its beauty.
It can be quite overwhelming at times……….I say enjoy what it has to say.
The full moon this month has been doing its ‘magic’ on a lot of us.
    Great shots, Mitchell!

  2. That cloud in that last photo isn’t even giving that poor sun the chance to go down. It’s like the darkness wasn’t coming fast enough for it.

  3. These are beautiful even though melancholy. Puts me in mind of A Wrinkle in Time. The book, not the series of sucky movie adaptations. Hugs, Scoot. Real tight hugs.

      1. It was a childhood favorite, Scoot. I appreciated it even more as an adult. The movies don’t capture the feel of the book at all. Everyone should read it at least once.

      2. Deedles:
I’m downloading the series of 5 to my iPad! Sending you huge hugs!

  4. Mitch, I’ve been so remiss lately in not reading your posts, over a month in fact – entirely through forgetting consciously to bring them on-screen as, unlike all the others I can only bookmark them, that I’m now getting myself prompted through e-mail even though I hadn’t wished to clutter up my post box unnecessarily. So we;ll see how it goes .I see that I’ve missed some crackers, especially (wait for it!) recent Xmas ones. Hope I’ll be joining in more in future.
