FUENGIROLA DID NOT disappoint with the colorful costumes and flamboyant fashions at the World People‘s Fair. But it wasn’t alway easy to tell the difference between the participants and the spectators.

FUENGIROLA NO DECEPCIONÓ con los coloridos trajes y modas extravagantes en la Feria Internacional de los Pueblos. Pero no siempre fue fácil distinguir la diferencia entre los participantes y los espectadores.

  • Nice hats. / Bonitos sombreros.
  • 20 minutes more. “Oh, my aching feet.” / 20 minutos más. “Ay, mis pies doloridos.”
As far as I know, these two were NOT in the parade. I’ve seen them around town at times dressed exactly the same. But, maybe they were rehearsing.
Por lo que sé, estos dos NO estaban en el desfile. Los he visto por la ciudad a veces vestidos exactamente igual. Pero, tal vez estaban ensayando.
And something equally subtle for the ride home? A strange sight even for Fuengirola.
