As I mentioned Thursday, The Kid Brother did show up… early. After San Geraldo and I went and had our morning coffee and computing fix, The Kid Brother and I took our walk to Coney Island for a Nathan’s hot dog lunch and a game — or 20 (in his case) — of skee ball. At nine balls per game, The Kid Brother rolled 180; that’s a lot of balls. And, yes, he is still the champion (a high game of 370 — the highest possible is 450; my two games, 170 and 190). He’s so good at skee ball that people kept stopping to watch him.

After Nathan’s and before skee ball, I dragged The Kid Brother into a brand new store that is of absolutely no interest to him. The Store is called IT’SUGAR. The Kid Brother has a lot of will power.
I think will-power is highly over-rated.
Out of respect for The Kid Brother, I didn’t buy anything, but I did take pictures and even got him to pose (grudgingly) in front of some of the items so you could see how big they are — like the world’s largest Gummy Bear. (Click any image to supersize the sweets… and everything else.)

NICE MELONS AND DINGLE BERRIES BEARIES (CHOCOLATE COVERED, OF COURSE).
YOU WOULDN’T CATCH ME EATING THOSE. |

I ASKED THE KID BROTHER IF HE WANTED CAMEL BALLS.
HE CALLED ME A JERK! |

THE WONDER WHEEL. MY FAVORITE RIDE IN CONEY ISLAND.
I LOVED THOSE SWINGING CARS (A ROLLER COASTER AND FERRIS WHEEL IN ONE). |
