San Geraldo had some iPhone SIM pin PUK problems to take care of today. Did anyone else not know what a PUK number was? If you don’t, it’s the number you use if you can’t remember your SIM pin. Did we have any clue where to find that? Of course not. Did the online instructions work to help us find it? Not on your life. So, off we went.
Vodafone can be found in shopping malls here, but the one in the mall nearest us moved out last year, so we headed south across the river, outside the city (a first for San Geraldo) to the Arcangel Mall in the neighborhood called Arcangel. The woman at Vodafone was wonderfully kind, patient, and helpful, and we got everything taken care of, plus she checked out our service plan and got us a lower rate.
San Geraldo then took a taxi home and I thought I’d wander the mall, since our nearby mall is not much, and then I’d walk the 36 minutes home. Well, the Arcangel Mall is not much more than the other, so I didn’t spend much time there and simply came home with a few sidesteps to see the sights.
Today’s photo is a style we rarely see in Córdoba. I thought you might enjoy it. I wonder if she bought it all at H&M. I took one look at went “Hmmm.”
Hoy en San Geraldo tuvimos que solucionar algunos problemas con el SIM pin PUK del iPhone. ¿Alguien más no sabía qué era un número PUK? Si no, es el número que se usa si no se recuerda el PIN de la SIM. ¿Teníamos alguna pista de dónde encontrarlo? Claro que no. ¿Funcionaron las instrucciones en línea para ayudarnos a encontrarlo? Ni hablar. Así que, allá fuimos.
Vodafone se encuentra en los centros comerciales de aquí, pero el del centro comercial más cercano se mudó el año pasado, así que nos dirigimos al sur, cruzando el río, a las afueras de la ciudad (una primicia para San Geraldo), al Centro Comercial Arcángel, en el barrio de Arcángel. La mujer de Vodafone fue increíblemente amable, paciente y servicial, y nos resolvió todo. Además, revisó nuestro plan de servicio y nos consiguió una tarifa más baja.
San Geraldo tomó un taxi a casa y pensé en dar una vuelta por el centro comercial, ya que el que está cerca no es gran cosa, y luego caminar los 36 minutos de regreso. Bueno, el Centro Comercial Arcángel no es mucho más grande que el otro, así que no pasé mucho tiempo allí y simplemente volví a casa con algunos desvíos para ver los lugares de interés.
