I didn’t go out yesterday to see any of the processions. I haven’t been able to figure out where I should be today, so I plan to instead hit the streets tomorrow for the big day. The Resurrection. Tomorrow’s procession is supposed to be colorful and celebratory. I’ll try to get out of bed early and catch it when it’s only about five minutes from us.
Today’s photos are more from my day at the botanic gardens with Elena. And I’ve ended with a brief, happy video of the cats finishing up a recent adventure in the hall. At those moments, you would never know how bad their health actually was.
San Geraldo and I are both doing OK despite missing Moose and Dudo. I still watch my step when I walk around the house. I still look into rooms to see if the boys are there. And I sidestep non-existent cat dishes. Last night, I woke up at the typical times the cats would have sounded the treats alarm. Old habits die hard.
Ayer no salí a ver ninguna de las procesiones. No he podido decidir dónde debería estar hoy, así que planeo salir a la calle mañana para el gran día. La Resurrección. Se supone que la procesión de mañana será colorida y festiva. Intentaré levantarme temprano y alcanzarla cuando esté a solo cinco minutos de nosotros.
Las fotos de hoy son más de mi día en el jardín botánico con Elena. Y he terminado con un breve y alegre video de los gatos terminando una reciente aventura en el pasillo. En esos momentos, nunca imaginarías lo mal que estaban de salud.
San Geraldo y yo estamos bien a pesar de extrañar a Moose y Dudo. Todavía tengo cuidado al caminar por la casa. Todavía miro dentro de las habitaciones para ver si los chicos están allí. Y esquivo los platos de gato inexistentes. Anoche, me desperté a las horas típicas en que los gatos habrían hecho sonar la alarma de los aperetivos. Las viejas costumbres son difíciles de erradicar.

• Ambas sabíamos que era “alguien”, pero no recordábamos quién. Elena le envió un mensaje a su hija Paula y recibió una respuesta inmediata desde Suiza. Es Groot. ¿Lo conoces?
