THE KID BROTHER called me on FaceTime today and we talked for 20 minutes. I said, “Hey! It’s working again. Did you fix it yourself or did you get help?”
He said, “Don’t talk about fixing it.” Pause… “It’s fixed.”
Um… OK… “Did you figure out the problem?”
“No.”
“Did you get someone to fix it?”
“No. It’s fixed.”
“All by itself?”
“No.”
Alrighty then. Everything is back to normal. Or as normal as it was in this photo from 1969 with big sister Dale and the Kid Brother.
“So, Chuck, how’s the weather?”
“Nice.”
EL HERMANITO ME llamó con FaceTime hoy y hablamos 20 minutos. Yo dije, “¡Oye! FaceTime está funcionando de nuevo. ¿Lo arreglaste tú mismo o recibiste ayuda?”
Él dijo: “No hables sobre arreglarlo”. Pausa … “Está arreglado”.
Um … OK … “¿Has descubierto el problema?”
“No.”
“¿Conseguiste a alguien para arreglarlo?”
“No. Está arreglado”.
“¿Todo por sí mismo?”
“No.”
De acuerdo entonces. Todo ha vuelto a la normalidad. O tan normal como lo fue en 1969 en la foto de hermana Dale y el Hermanito.
“Entonces, Chuck, ¿cómo está el clima?”
“Bueno.”
