Before we leave DUMBO (Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass), here’s a collection of photos of the neighborhood. The first few photos should give you a good idea of where the neighborhood got the name. As you near the Brooklyn Bridge (Down Under the Brooklyn Bridge Overpass?), the neighborhood becomes more polished and complete. Under the Manhattan Bridge and further north it’s still a work in progress. Construction everywhere. Great places to eat, some fun shopping, plus Brooklyn Bridge Park and spectacular views across the East River. Next stop: 2nd Avenue Deli.
