Friday was Constitution Day and all around town we saw women wearing tight-fitting faux leather pants or leggings (and thongs). I jokingly commented that it must be the national costume for the holiday. I think San Geraldo believed me. He looked it up online.
It’s a common occurrence for SG to spill something on whatever clean shirt he’s wearing. He was wearing a blue polo shirt the other day and I heard an “Oops.” I took a picture, of course, and named it “SGspot.” Whenever I went through my photos for posting, I would stop and wonder whose G spot I had photographed.
After our move, we quickly discovered a popular burger place called Goiko Grill. It’s cool and trendy, and most of the patrons are university students. We might be the only ones there that whine about the uncomfortable wood chairs. But the food is great (more than just burgers). I finally had one burger because of its name, not its ingredients. Who could resist Kevin Bacon?
El viernes era el Día de la Constitución y por toda la ciudad vimos mujeres que llevaban pantalones o leggings de piel sintética ajustados (y tangas). Bromeé y comenté que debía ser el traje nacional para la fiesta. Creo que San Geraldo me creyó. Lo buscó en Internet.
Es algo habitual que SG derrame algo sobre la camisa limpia que lleva puesta. El otro día llevaba un polo azul y escuché un “Ups”. Tomé una foto, por supuesto, y la llamé “SGspot”. Cada vez que revisaba mis fotos para publicarlas, me detenía y me preguntaba de quién era el punto G que había fotografiado.
Después de nuestra mudanza, descubrimos rápidamente un popular lugar de hamburguesas llamado Goiko Grill. Es genial y moderno, y la mayoría de los clientes son estudiantes universitarios. Puede que seamos los únicos que nos quejamos de las incómodas sillas de madera y la corriente de aire que entra por la puerta. Pero la comida es genial (más que solo hamburguesas). Finalmente comí una hamburguesa por su nombre, no por sus ingredientes. ¿Quién podría resistirse a Kevin Bacon?
