Moose is husky. Dudo is slender to the point of concern at times. Dudo eats the dry food always available, although not much. Moose inhales it. When it comes to the twice-daily wet food treats, Dudo inhales those while Moose, although no slouch, can’t eat as fast. Dudo receives about 3/4 of the package to Moose’s 1/4, and that seems to make them both happy. They both, especially Dudo, are always waiting (demanding) the next round of treats. So we decided to reduce the amount of dry food they get every day and give them wet food three times. Because Dudo goes from one of us to the next and just sits and stares pathetically. Guilt is a powerful motivator. Anyway, they both seem to be very happy now.
The plants have been tended to. They’re doing well. It helps that I’ve been paying them consistent attention, and they’re enjoying the warmth and sunshine. The aloe vera blooms are almost gone. So, I’ll soon cut the stems and trim the dead tips.
The desert rose (adenum obesum) was still glorious yesterday and has dropped many more flowers already today. But, given that it’s been blooming beautifully for more than a month, I’m not complaining. Besides, when I was watering, I discovered the other desert rose has flower buds. It’s a different variety with smaller flowers that are more pink (not red). It still brings us joy when it blooms and I hope we’re successful this year.
Tonight I get to video chat with The Kid Brother. As for the moto at top, now that’s a fun paint job (see the Porsche for reference).

Moose es fornido. Dudo es delgado hasta el punto de preocupación a veces. Dudo come la comida seca siempre afuera, pero Moose la inhala. Cuando se trata de golosinas de comida húmeda dos veces al día, Dudo las inhala mientras que Moose, aunque no se queda atrás, no puede comer tan rápido. Dudo recibe alrededor de 3/4 del paquete frente a 1/4 de Moose, y eso parece alegrar a ambos. Ambos, especialmente Dudo, siempre están esperando (exigiendo) la próxima ronda de golosinas. Así que decidimos reducir la cantidad de comida seca que reciben todos los días y darles comida húmeda tres veces. Porque Dudo va de uno de nosotros al siguiente y simplemente se sienta y mira patéticamente. La culpa es un poderoso motivador. De todos modos, ambos parecen estar muy felices ahora.
Las plantas han sido cuidadas. Lo están haciendo bien. Ayuda que les haya estado prestando atención constante y que estén disfrutando del calor y el sol. Las flores de aloe vera casi se han ido. Entonces, pronto cortaré los tallos y las puntas muertas.
La rosa del desierto (adenum obesum) todavía estaba gloriosa ayer y ya ha dejado caer muchas más flores hoy. Pero dado que ha estado floreciendo maravillosamente durante más de un mes, no me quejo. Además, cuando estaba regando, descubrí que la otra rosa del desierto tiene capullos. Es una variedad diferente con flores más pequeñas que son más rosadas (no rojas). Todavía nos trae alegría cuando florece y espero que tengamos éxito este año.
Esta noche tengo mi video chat semanal con El Hermanito. En cuanto a la moto en la parte superior, ahora es un trabajo de pintura divertido (vea el Porsche como referencia).
• Moose camina por el lugar maullando a todo volumen. Pero lo hace incluso cuando no quiere un regalo. Al gato le gusta hablar.
• Dudo se sienta al lado de San Geraldo mirándolo acusadoramente y maullando suave y patéticamente hasta que entro en la oficina. Entonces su mirada se vuelve hacia mí. ¿Podrías decir “no”?
