I think that final photo is a delight
So do I… And even the Duchess likes it!
How beautiful your mother looks in all the pictures. And she also seems to show a cheerful, friendly warmheartedness, too. Lucky you! Lucky her!
What great photos of your Mom. She is such a classy dame. 😉 ANd an artist too!
My relationship with my mother was so difficult, I have come to the point where I spend Mother's Day wishing it were over. I'm glad you have such a wonderful relationship with your Mom. She is just fabulous!
I can completely understand. Sorry for what you have to go through.
My mother is extremely talented: watercolor, oils, sculpture, sewing, knitting, needlework. I'll have to do a blog post showing some of her creations.
Oh, I loved seeing all of these photos, Mitch! Dowager D.: Happy Day to you! Thanks for producing the best Mitchell I (sort of) know!
Thanks! (from us both)
Really lovely pics, Mitch. They lift MY heart so I can only try to imagine what your own pride feels like.
It's wonderful to watch someone grow, learn, experience and become more and more enlightened throughout life. An inspiration.
She looks great in all photos, happy Dowager Duchess Day to you Ma'am!
The Duchess says "thank you"!
Your mother was, is and will always be a very attractive woman. Happy Mother's Day to her.
She is that! And she sends her thanks.
A very beautiful woman! Happy Mother's Day, DD.
And a happy one to you!
Lovely photos Mitch, your mother is a beautiful woman. Like Knatolee my relationship with my mum was difficult so I love to hear about happy families like yours.
We can share stories some time…
What a lovely way to celebrate your mother.
I really like this post.
Thanks! I love going through these old photos.
I love the 1955 photo! She was so classy! 🙂 Really beautiful post!
Thanks. I loved that vintage street scene… and the clothes…
Love the photo of you and your mom watching the `rowers`!! And looking pretty good!
happy Mother`s Day to Mitchell`s Mom!
I eventually learned how to paddle but being paddled (well, you know what I mean… rowed) is so much more relaxing!
This is just grand! DD is so beautiful!
Thanks you for sharing your gorgeous MOM!!
Happy Mother's day, DD!!!
Thanks from the DD.
What a nice album venerating your mother!
The next best thing to being there…
the 2013 photo is my favorite.
I glanced across the room at her and she looked so content.
Your mum is so beautiful and has a real light in her eyes! There is something really special about vintage photographs…lovely!
Thanks so much. My mother is amazing. As for vintage photographs, I love them too, which is a good thing considering that earlier photos of me are now considered vintage!
