Oh, the things one sees by the seaside. Hoo, hoo, by the beautiful sea.
|SUPER MARIO BROTHERS? (I HAVE NO IDEA.)
|I’VE BEEN SEEING THIS LOOK QUITE OFTEN AROUND TOWN.
NOT EASY TO SURREPTITIOUSLY GET A SHOT.
|HIS (PINK) AND HERS…|
|IF I HAD HAIR, I’D DO IT, TOO… OR NOT.|
|ANOTHER 4-YEAR-OLD FOAMING AT THE MOUTH???
[AEROSOL] WHIPPED CREAM. SUGAR RUSH, ANYONE?
|I WISH I COULD HAVE GOTTEN A SHOT OF THIS GUY STANDING UP.
BLUE, RED, AND WHITE STRIPES FROM HEAD TO KNEES…
“Oh, Mr. Todd, I can see us now in our new bathing dresses.
You in a nice navy, and me… stripes, perhaps.”
I’ve since learned (from dear friend Slushee) that these are not the Mario Brothers. These are the “118 Twins,” part of a years-long advertising campaign for a UK-based telephone information service. So, I now know who those two guys were dressed up as, but I still have absolutely no idea why.
