A Walk On The Wild Side

Sorry I’ve been out of touch. Although all is well in Fuengirola (Málaga, Costa del Sol, Spain), my moods have been a little rocky. I’ve had plenty to share but haven’t found myself all that interesting. I took a long solitary walk on the beach last week, mostly west, through the Fuengirola neighborhoods of Los Boliches, Torreblanca, Carvajal, before crossing into Benalmádena.  It helped.

ON THE ROCKS.
I HAD TO VEER RIGHT AND WAS WORRIED HIGH TIDE MIGHT BLOCK MY RETURN.
WONDERING IF THE TIDE WAS COMING IN OR GOING OUT…
… AND, DECIDING I DIDN’T CARE, CONTINUING AROUND THE POINT.
HAVING ALREADY WALKED BACK FOR 15 MINUTES.
MAUVE SEAWEED?
PETRIFIED WOOD?
I FOUND A PATH ABOVE THE BEACH FOR PART OF MY RETURN,
BUT THE TIDE WAS GOING OUT ANYWAY.

Doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo…
