I’M STILL THINKING about the people I met Friday at the Museum of Málaga. Not one talked back, complained, was unkind, or showed off. Well, maybe they did show off; they were all being displayed as works of art, after all. Still, these are a few of the people I met and liked. They weren’t quite as old as the ones I introduced on previous days, but they were still fascinating individuals. And, oh, the fashions!

This next portrait reminded me of The Mistress Borghese of New Hope, Pennsylvania (click here if you haven’t met).

I’d love anew hat for fall!
Bob:
It might be a bit heavy on the head, but i’d be glad to send it for you to try. I’ll negotiate a good price for you.
LOVE that helmet!!! SG would look stunning in it!!
Jim:
Jerry looks great in all “hats.”
That’s the kind of crowd I like. There just like my neighbors in the next yard. All they do is lie around and keep quite.
Maddie:
And they’re so fashionable, too.
I immediately thought of SG when I saw the photo of the helmet. But it would probably be too hot to wear. The paintings are wonderful. Your new friends are so very stylish and elegant.
Wilma:
Only problem is I don’t think the helmet is big enough to fit over his head. I might have to special order.
I’m always drawn toward glamour (even princesses) so I do like the Anita Delgado picture. and you’re right, she does remind one of the Mistress.
As for that helmet, if SG ever gets a job in construction, I’m sure it would come in handy.
Kirk:
There was so much art to share, but i didn’t want to be merely an exhibit brochure. The portraits were exceptional. Ha, SG in construction. He’s very handy but loses interest after 10 minutes and needs a break. Still, he’d look great in his hard hat.
Yeah, I can see Maddie in that picture. He’d give it a little more pizzazz! As for the helmet, the important thing to consider is if it will go well with a dishtowel.
Deedles:
The dish towel would have to go under the helmet and Jerry could definitely make it work. Unfortunately, the helmet isn’t his size. As for the portrait of Maddie in the past, the hair and lashes aren’t big enough.
yep, that’s our maddie! all that’s missing is a cock-a-tail in her hand!
anne marie:
And much bigger hair and lashes.
A propos of nothing, I turned on the travel channel yesterday and at that very moment they were showing an aerial view of… Fuengirola! It didn’t last long and they moved on quickly, but the narrator mentioned the town’s name a few times so I was sure I heard it correctly. I think the show was called Europe’s treasures seen from the air, or something like that.
Walt the Fourth:
They must have been doing a fly-by of Fuengirola on their way to Europe’s treasures!
