Remember “hucha”? That was the great new word I learned and wrote about recently (click here). Before writing the “hucha” post, I looked up the word to see what else I could learn. I discovered a word with the same pronunciation but a different spelling. It’s green glittery nail polish. No Jungle Red here, this one is oddly called “Oocha Coocha Bing Bang Bam Alakazy Alakazam.”

Oocha Coocha Bing Bang Bam Alakazy Alakazam reminded me of a color the Dowager Duchess wore last year. Hers was darker and more metallic than glittery. Certainly much more classy. She said it’s one of her “fall” colors. When she’s ready, I’ll be sure to show you the Duchess’s oocha … but definitely not her “hucha.” (I’m sure I’m in trouble for even mentioning it.)

I must find a way to integrate "oocha coocha bing bang bam" into a conversation.

I just made up my gourmet breakfast bowl of yogurt, peaches, and cereal. Instead of saying "voila!" when it was done, I said "oocha coocha bing bang bam alakazy alakazam!"
I think I'll stick to "voila!"
Remarkable to have natural nails like that at her age.

I like the Duchess, we have similar tastes in nail colour.

Ooh, I can picture the smirk. Are you peering over the top of your eyeglasses? I learned that from San Geraldo. I learned how to respond from his sister.
She said, "Oh, when he does that, I just do this," as she took her finger and pushed the glasses back up.
It's remarkable to have natural nails like that at ANY age! I'd love to have those… color and all!

Love the glitter, DD will be all over it I'm sure. Now are you 2 testing the colours? That's my concern!

As for testing, San Geraldo's fingers are so big, he'd go through two bottles for the first coat!
The DD's nails are a much nicer shape that the first pair shown. Does the first pair have what is called a French Cut?

I know French-cut green beans. I'd have to look up the term for nails… and I know you really don't care enough for that!
Beautiful nails the Duchess has! Mine will never in a billion years look like that. 🙂

The Duchess emailed today that she's now got her green on! But she had to cut her nails down because she going back to her Ceramics Club at school and her long nails make it too difficult to work the clay. I'll get a screen shot this Saturday.
The Duchess has nails like that because she doesn't have chickens, ducks, and bees.
