I’ve almost finished packing up the Christmas decorations. The larger of the two Rubbermaid tubs is back in the closet since yesterday. The other, still large, is nearly packed. The weather has been weird and foggy and so have I, so I’ve been taking it slow.

Besides, Dudo has been in need of attention and he comes first. Yesterday while I packed, he wanted to play. It doesn’t happen very often anymore, so I drop everything when it does. He has the attention span of a playful 14-year-old cat, so I’m not required for very long. The 1-minute 24-second video is how it went. Tissue paper is the best.

Today, he wanted to sit on the sofa and cuddle with me. So the packing stopped for 10 minutes, and now I’m just too dizzy to get back to it. You can see by the rest of today’s photos of the view from the bedroom window what the air has been like and why I haven’t been at my best. I think it’s time to join SG for a siesta.

In the title, I’m quoting Fraulein Schneider from Cabaret when she reacts to the pineapple given to her by Herr Schultz. The video I found isn’t quite the same, but perhaps it’s even better.

Casi he terminado de guardar los adornos navideños. La más grande de las dos bañeras Rubbermaid está guardada en el armario desde ayer. La otra, todavía grande, está casi llena. Ha hecho un tiempo raro y con niebla, y yo también, así que me lo he tomado con calma.
