A Breakfast Treat

While walking to Café Manila for my morning coffee, I tucked my hand into the front pocket of my jeans and discovered that Dudo had left me a little gift during the night. He must have slipped it in the pocket while my jeans lay folded (I swear they were folded). I think it was intended as a little snack. I ordered one of Fran’s freshly made scones to go along with it. The perfect complement. If only there had been lemon curd and clotted cream.

MOUSE REMAINS: TWO BLACK EYES, ONE PINK EAR, AND A BIT OF ELASTIC CORD.
DELECTABLE WITH A SCONE AND MARMALADE.
