The Talking Horse / El Caballo Que Habla

OUR FRIEND THE Goddess Elena’s birthday (click here) was followed within days by her older (by one year) sister Isa’s birthday. It was a round number for Isa (like 20, only not) and as part of the celebration Elena and a friend, Cristina, had 85 friends and family make brief videos in her honor. The very talented Cristina then edited all the videos into an hour-long salute to Isa. Included were tributes from a 94-year-old aunt, a 100-year-old uncle, and Isa’s horse, Indio, a handsome and surprisingly eloquent guy.

What Indio said (sort of):

Hey Mommy.
I just want to tell you that I am a very lucky little horse.
And you are very lucky to have me.
You are so beautiful. And so am I.
When I saw you, nothing could separate us and that day changed my life and yours, too.
Thank you for taking care of me and for loving me so much.
I’m proud to have such a strong and valiant companion.
I love you, Mommy!
