It’s 10:27 and I just returned from the hospital where I had my bi-monthly, more or less, lab work done. I had planned to be there at 8. I got off to a slow start and arrived there at 9:30. So, I just finally took my first pill of the day and have to wait an hour before I can eat breakfast.
To distract us (me), here are sculptures from the Museum of Fine Arts. Some are busts, but others are just heads, especially the last one of Saint John the Baptist. I wanted to call this post “Heads or Tails,” but I had no photos of tails, except for the cats. So, I decided to share a photo of the feet under one of the smaller pasos of Semana Santa.
The painters are supposed to be back this afternoon to finish the leak repairs on the roof. I’ve done a lot of waiting around for this repair and will be happy when it’s done.
I plan to go to an art supply shop this afternoon to get some good paper for a drawing I’ve decided to begin. I’d better check my other supplies before I go. Stay tuned.
The sun is shining, it’s 22˚C/72˚F and expected to reach the high 20sC/mid-80sF. The flowers in the city are showing their gratitude..
Son las 10:27 y acabo de regresar del hospital donde me hicieron mis análisis de laboratorio bimensuales, más o menos. Había planeado estar allí a las 8. Empecé con un poco de prisa y llegué a las 9:30. Así que, por fin, me tomé mi primera pastilla del día y tengo que esperar una hora antes de poder desayunar.
Para distraernos (a mí), aquí hay esculturas del Museo de Bellas Artes. Algunas son bustos, pero otras son solo cabezas, especialmente la última de San Juan Bautista. Quería titular esta publicación “Cara o Cruz”, pero no tenía fotos de colas, excepto de los gatos. Así que decidí compartir una foto de los pies bajo uno de los pasos más pequeños de Semana Santa.
Se supone que los pintores volverán esta tarde para terminar de reparar las goteras del techo. He esperado mucho para esta reparación y estaré feliz cuando esté lista.
Planeo ir a una tienda de materiales de arte esta tarde a comprar buen papel para un dibujo que he decidido empezar. Mejor reviso mis demás provisiones antes de irme. Estén atentos.
