We’re having a bit of a cold snap today. The temperature is only supposed to reach 37˚C/98.6˚F. After 42C+/107.6F, it’s almost refreshing.

Yesterday I went for a brief walk (maybe 40 minutes). It wasn’t just a fun walk. I also ran errands, a stop at the pharmacy and then on to El Corte Inglés where I picked up some sugar-free protein bars. While there I phoned San Geraldo but of course got no answer. So I made an executive decision and picked up barbecued beef empanadas for lunch. I texted him via WhatsApp. He didn’t see that either. Still, he was delighted when I got home. In our world, this means I cooked lunch.

I decided to grab some photos of our lobby and hallway to share with you. Today is up in the air. A workout and stretching are seriously required. Well, so is some drawing. Body and mind (and soul).

Hoy tenemos una ola de frío. Se supone que la temperatura solo alcanzará los 37°C/98,6°F. Después de 42C/1047.6F, es casi refrescante.

Ayer di un paseo corto (quizás 40 minutos). No fue solo un paseo divertido. También hice recados, pasé por la farmacia y luego fui a El Corte Inglés, donde compré unas barritas de proteínas sin azúcar. Mientras estaba allí, llamé a San Geraldo, pero, por supuesto, no obtuve respuesta. Así que tomé una decisión ejecutiva y compré empanadas de carne a la barbacoa para comer. Le escribí un mensaje por WhatsApp. Tampoco lo vio. Aun así, se alegró mucho cuando llegué a casa. En nuestro mundo, esto significa que preparé el almuerzo.

Decidí hacer algunas fotos de nuestro vestíbulo y pasillo para compartirlas con ustedes. Hoy es un día incierto. Hacer ejercicio y estirar es realmente necesario. Bueno, también dibujar. Cuerpo y mente (y alma).
