Sevilla is an exceptional city for street performers — singers, musicians, acrobats, entertainers. And since I continue to run a bit behind these days and we’re soon to head up the mountain for an afternoon in Mijas Pueblo, here’s some Metallica on classical guitar that Sarah and I were lucky enough to experience while walking by the cathedral Wednesday afternoon.

Sevilla es una ciudad excepcional para los artistas callejeros — cantantes, músicos, acróbatas, animadores. Y dado que sigo andando un poco atrasado estos días y pronto subiremos a la montaña para pasar una tarde en Mijas Pueblo, aquí hay algo de Metallica en guitarra clásica que Sarah y yo tuvimos la suerte de experimentar mientras paseábamos por la catedral el miércoles por la tarde.
Oh, that’s a really nice perspective, getting to see this scene in a video (and lovely music).

Anything sounds exquisite played on classical guitar! Love the guy sitting on the curb behind him, just relaxing and grooving to the music. That’s how to enjoy a great street musician!

I liked seeing that guy, too. Sarah recognized the song with the first two notes.
I’d never heard this song before as metal is not a musical genre that I’m interested in. I do like what a classical guitar can do in the hands of someone who knows what they’re doing. That being said, I’ve heard this song recently being performed in acapella by Voice Play. Loved it!

Just returned from the airport. The fun is over.
How lovely! I could listen to that all day. I heard the horse coming before I saw it – at first it almost fit in with the rhythm.
