The surgeon was just here. He changed the dressing and said “This is exceptional” when he saw how well I’m healing. My mood is up and down, so his pleasure with my progress makes a huge difference. I can start sleeping in more comfortable positions after these two days of lying on my back and putting constant pressure on the wound. San Geraldo is on his way and I was told I can even go for a walk outside — in my charming hospital gown, which I’ve reversed so no one will see my hind quarters. The hospital food is really good. You won’t be getting much from me these days but I’m enjoying seeing what you’re up to.
Greetings from the San Francisco Peninsula, the land that summer forgot (52F, cloudy, windy). It’s farmer’s market day here, a pleasant one-mile walk from home. Thank you for keeping us up to date.
More (I got interrupted): You’re progressing so well! I hope every day is better than the last, and that the cats and SG miss you just enough. Get well soon.
If you’ve reversed the gown so no one will see your hindquarters, won’t they see…your frontquarters?
It is great to hear from you. Take your time, take care, send photos of the stroll.
You know how glad we are to learn about your progress!
Hey, is that a new photo of Chuck, over on the side bar (in green)? Or maybe I just haven’t looked over there recently?
Good progress. Remember to keep your pecker up (umm…maybe you ought to wear two gowns).
Not up to much here. When the temperature and the humidity percentage are both well into the 80s, no point doing anything outside. Flood watch, too, as a significant line of storms are due later this afternoon. Good times. I hate mid-Atlantic summers. Just gross. Stay cool and heal!
Take care. Hope you heal quickly.
I’m glad things are progressing well. Try to stay positive, especially since the surgeon is giving you reason to.
Glad you are doing well. We are meeting friends from Italy who live in Albuquerque at the lake near our house. I warned them it is not Lake Como. And it is hotter than Hades here….
Up and out and about in such a short time! You’re on the mend, dear. Jx
PS I’m with other commenters on here – best wear two robes, to save flashing any of your bits at the unsuspecting public!
Your good health and fitness regime are really rewarding you in spades!
So good to hear! Keep it up.
So, wait … are you showing off your junk to the front then???
Glad to know that you AND the doctor are pleased with your progress!
Good thoughts.
Flash ’em. Flash ’em ALL, I say! Glad you’re progressing so quickly and well!
Debra,
Ha! They have seen every part of me. Nothing will shock them … or me.
SuperMAN! That’s what I’m going to call you from now on!
Ron,
Supermoaner!
I too say flash them!!!! The hospital is one place that needs to have some fun and excitement!!!!!
Mistress Borghese,
As I told Debra, they’ve seen parts of me I’ve never seen. Nothing will surprise them.
Just knowing you came through it all right is enough.
Kirk,
Thanks so much. I have to remind myself how well it’s going and how much I’ve improved.
Splendid!
Just remember all docs is quacks.
Urspo,
I’m seriously thinking I found a couple of non-quacks. What a relief.
A hospital that has good food? Put that gown on the correct way and ask SG take a picture of the full moon.
Love,
Janie
Janiejunebug,
I’ll think about it. Nope. Done thinking.
