ZzzzzZZZzzzz

La versión en español está después de la versión en inglés.

Sorry. My day Monday that included the train ride to and from Plaza Mayor really took it out of me. I’ve done a whole lot of nothing since then. Friday morning I have to be up early to get my monthly lab work done. Then, Isabel will be here and we’ll be out for coffee. Oh the excitement. It’s nice to know that Zzzzz is the same in Spanish and English. But I don’t know if it’s lisped.

Lo siento. Mi día el lunes que incluyó el viaje en tren de ida y vuelta a la Plaza Mayor, me dejó sin energía. Desde entonces, no he hecho nada.

I’ve never been as adorable. I’d be snoring, drooling, and end up with a stiff neck, and pins and needles.

He does it for me, too. He makes me want to cuddle him constantly. I’m grateful he’s evolved to letting me do so sometimes.

I’ve been sleeping that soundly in recent months, which is amazing. But, if I end up in a position like that, I won’t be happy when I wake up.

  1. I guess it’s wearisome being a cat. It surely seems like it.
I hope you’ve gotten some more rest today. Going out for coffee sounds so civilized.

We used to go out for coffee every morning. That changed since Covid. I miss it. The coffee is good (and we don’t make it at home) and it was a great way to get to know the locals. I was out of bed around 7 this morning, had a siesta after lunch, and just completed some “garden” work — and was attacked by giant aloe vera.

      1. Every time I go by my aloe vera and bramble bed, I shiver, knowing that I MUST get to it soon. I have to. This is going to require a full suit of armor as each and every one of those aloes (and there are probably at least a hundred) are like saws, rooted into the ground.

I am enjoying the sound sleep I’ve been getting, but I’m clearly missing some other nutrients. Still, I’ve never in my life known that I could just put my head on the pillow and sleep.

  2. HA! Awww, I love that picture of Moose.
Hoping your blood work shows good results.
I’m imagining the lisped zzzzzz and it’s kind of cracking me up 🙂

    1. Judy C:
When I look it up, it’s pronounced “zeta zeta zeta zeta zeta.” Is it pronounced “zee zee zee zee zee” in English?

    1. Ron:
Not so sure. I’ll ask around. Who actually says Zzzzzzz in English? They may just say zeta zeta zeta here — and ZETA would be lisped! So, yes!

  3. I have had to rest a lot more, lately. I don’t mind a good nap and actually look forward to them now, but this constant lethargy is for the birds!!!!!
