SAN GERALDO OFFERED to cook a pot of chili Sunday that we would take to Pedro and Kathleen’s for dinner, after which we would play some cards. It makes for a relaxing evening. Two-year old Luke doesn’t have to be on “restaurant behavior” and he can go to sleep at a normal time.
But that evening, Kathleen texted to warn us that Luke had a fever. San Geraldo didn’t want to catch anything and I’m feeling like my resistance might be a bit week after the few months I’ve had, so we decided to reschedule.
Pedro had made tiramisú for dessert, and they said they felt just awful about not being able to share it with us. You can tell in the photos just how awful they felt.
The jerks.
SAN GERALDO OFRECÍO cocinar una olla de chili con carne el domingo que llevaríamos a la casa de Pedro y Kathleen para cenar, después de lo cual jugaríamos a las cartas. Lo convierte en una noche relajante. Luke, de dos años, no tiene que estar en “comportamiento de restaurante” y él puede irse a dormir temprano.
