As San Geraldo does every morning, he scooped the poo out of the litter box before doing anything else. The bag gets placed outside the kitchen until its taken downstairs. He rushed back inside, “Brrr! It’s freezing out there!” He was right. It was a gelid 12˚C/53˚F. I complained I had clothes on the line that I needed to take down and fold before Isabel arrived to clean. SG suggested: “They should design a little space heater suit that when you put it on it keeps you warm.” I said, “You know what that’s called.” “What?” he asked. “A sweatshirt.”
Here are some images of the city’s Nativity in the center of town. I checked it out when I visited the annual medieval festival in the Tuesday afternoon “chill.” A few photos of the festival are still to come. Meanwhile, it’s now nearly 10:30. The temperature has risen to 13˚C/55˚F and we’re about to face the cold. By the time we return home, it should be up to its peak of 19C/66F. Winter is here.

Como hace San Geraldo todas las mañanas, sacó la caca de la caja de arena antes de hacer nada más. La bolsa se coloca fuera de la cocina hasta que se lleva abajo. Se apresuró a entrar, “¡Brrr! ¡Hace mucho frío ahí afuera!”. Él estaba en lo correcto. Fue un gélido 12˚C/53˚F. Me quejé de que tenía ropa en el tendedero que necesitaba desarmar y doblar antes de que Isabel llegara a limpiar. SG sugirió: “Deberían diseñar un pequeño traje calefactor que cuando te lo pones te mantiene caliente”. Le dije: “Sabes cómo se llama eso”. “¿Qué?” preguntó. “Una sudadera.”
Aquí hay algunas imágenes del belen municipal en el centro de la ciudad. Lo comprobé cuando visité el festival medieval anual en el “frío” del martes por la tarde. Faltan algunas fotos del festival. Mientras tanto, ahora son casi las 10:30. La temperatura ha subido a 13˚C/55˚F y estamos a punto de enfrentarnos al frío. Para cuando regresemos a casa, debería estar en su punto máximo de 19C/66F. El invierno esta aqui.
