This morning, first I met Cristina, then Alfonso dropped off Maria before going for a workout on the beach, and then he returned — giving me a long blissful visit over coffee. San Geraldo slept.
I never did make it back out yesterday afternoon. I managed to do a load of laundry between naps. I’m hoping to find the energy for a healthy walk later today. I found so many things in Norway that would look great on our terrace. Most weren’t for sale. Imagine. We would have the coolest terrace in Fuengirola.

Esta mañana, primero conocí a Cristina, luego Alfonso dejó a María antes de ir a hacer ejercicio en la playa, y luego regresó, dándome una larga y dichosa visita mientras tomaba un café. San Gerardo se durmió.
Nunca volví a salir ayer por la tarde. Me las arreglé para hacer una carga de ropa entre siestas. Espero encontrar la energía para una caminata saludable más tarde hoy. Encontré tantas cosas en Noruega que se verían geniales en nuestra terraza. La mayoría no estaban a la venta. Imaginar. Tendríamos la terraza más cool de Fuengirola.

Those ‘Maidenhead’/Figureheads etc are wonderful! Yes, your terrace would look great with one of those.

Whenever I get to Norway I want to purchase a troll, an Ibsen, and a Viking – a proper one no rubbish type.

So many trolls. Someone NAMED Ibsen? And I saw a lot of hot Viking types.
That’s some interesting statuary, but I don’t think I’d want any of it on my terrace!

Pretty big balls on that unicorn! How about the polar bear? Was it deknackered? Curious minds want to know.

My students come back tomorrow. Your continued dealings with Covid-related fatigue really helps me feel like it’s the smart thing to do, to wear a mask in class, until I get the new booster. Darn it. It’s great not to be realllllly sick, yes, but clearly even a relatively mild case has a big effect on daily energy, and… who has time for that, when they have to go to work! (Or have fun! Or go for walks! )
Hoping you and Jerry feel more energy every day.

We are still really crashing. Multiple friends have told us it took them a month to get over the fatigue.
A 3 1/2 year old with powers ~ watch out! Maidenheads like these are formidable ~ ah-mazing.

Actually, Maria’s energy was a bit high and Alfonso was trying to find his Zen in spite of it.
A man in a raincoat holding a fish. Well, you do live by the ocean, so maybe it would work well on your terrace.

I so loved that one, but it was huge. I think it was too tall for the terrace anyway (not to mention how many thousands of euros it would cost).

I vote for the polar bear on your balcony. Scare off (some) tourists. Well, maybe not…Dudo and Moose would either make mincemeat out of it, use it as a sleeping stand or be totally terrified of it.
Mary:
Maria is now so outgoing and understands just about everything she hears in English. She’s phenomenal. As for the polar bear, Dudo and Moose would be under the bed and never come out.
