I’m not quite sure who the top cat is around here, but San Geraldo and I are obviously out of the running. Excuse me a moment while I serve wet treats, again, to my two loud and demanding employers. Moose actually just barked at me. It was so harsh San Geraldo came from his office to see what was the matter.
I’ll be off in a bit for the Feria del Rosario (Fair of Our Lady of the Rosary), patron saint of Fuengirola. The fair opened Friday evening and runs through Thursday afternoon. The Virgin’s statue is being carried today from the church of the same name in the center of town. My debate was whether I wanted to see the Virgin or simply meet up with Tynan and Elena at the fairgrounds. Not a prolonged debate.

• Y volvamos a Dudo.

• Dudo ataca su bolsa de papel para llamar mi atención. Él también puede volverse mandón.

You are very much down the “pecking order” in that household! Jx
Jon:
And I have learned my place well. It’s a good thing San Geraldo worships me.
Just seeing a photo of Moose’s face has almost sent me to the airport to fly across the ocean and give him treats.
Bob:
And he would love you for it. He started off painfully standoffish. He now follows us around the house and loves (demands) to be petted and cuddled — and not only when he wants a treat.
Oh but they/cats LOVE you guys!………
Good choice in the ‘debate’……..Our Lady of the Rosary will have plenty of company.
Jim:
I saw some beautiful photos of the procession, but I had the best time with Elena and Tynan.
I have come to avoid “festivals” like the plague…maybe because of the plague. Balloon Fiesta in Albuquerque started today at 4am. Big crowds and traffic.
Frank:
I enjoy going here to see so many people in traditional dress. I would love to see Balloon Fiesta in Albuquerque. I’ve only seen it in photos.
They have you well trained.
David:
I just served treat number 2. Later Dudo will summon me for a nap. After that I will have to do a command performance in the hallway. Yes, I’m well trained.
Oh, definitely go to the procession! I mean, how many virgins do you see walkin’ around these days…
wickedhamster:
I’d never seen so many version until I moved to Spain. Every day another virgin is honored. However, they may be all the same one dressed up for different occasions.
Dudo and Moose both rule with an Iron Paw! Obey, puny human!
Debra:
Oh, I do obey. I keep trying to catch their meows on video that lead up to that one enormous bark when they’ve reached their limit.
Oh, that is hilarious! Ha! I love seeing these guys 🙂
Hoping you had a great visit to the fair!
J Chabot:
Had a great visit at the fair. And the cats were happy to see me when I got home.
A dream posting for we ailurophiles.
Raybeard:
Don’t they just make you melt?
Ice in the sun!
The ‘Anon’ is me, Raybeard.
Those cats really know how to work the system!
Steve:
It helps that they created the system.
In case you two have not figured it out yet, Moose and Dudo are kind enough to let you live with them in their place!!!!!!!! The picture of Moose in the bed is too precious.
Mistress Borghese:
Oh, we’ve figured it out. SG will wander around because Moose or Dudo has decided to curl up in his (their) office chair. They really don’t like having to move for him. I am required to sleep on my left side with a pillow next to me, so Dudo can curl up and be petted. If he finds me on my right side, he gets really annoyed — and meows until I roll over (and place the pillow). Moose was snuggled up against SG’s legs in that photo. His idea of bliss (mine, too).
Overlords in fur coats! Mine is pleased I’m out of bed, but would get the damn’ breakfast NEEOWWW!
dinahmow:
I was permitted to sleep until 9:30 today before they woke me for their wet treats. It must have been in honor of the Virgin of the Rosary. SG was up at 8 to give them fresh water and dry food, and to clean the litter box. And they don’t even pay us!
Moose & Dudo, a.k.a “They Who Must Be Obeyed”, are getting crankier and bossier with every passing year! Lucky for them that you & SG love them anyway, LOL!
Tundra Bunny:
They’re also getting sweeter and more loving… but definitely bossier. They’re manipulators.
If looks could kill, the cats would have you dead.
Love,
Janie
janiejunebug:
And then they’d be up shit creek.
Report those cats to the Labor Department!
Kirk:
The cat who runs things there told us to get over it and do our jobs.
Oh, those kwazy kitties! We can see who wears the fur in your family. 🙂
Walt the Fourth:
No doubt about it.
I hear purring all kinds of purrs!
Ron,
They can really get those motors going.
cats plotting that’s what this is; up to no good that’s certain !
Urspo:
I do get really nervous when I see them whispering to each other.
