Clothes for fair or terrace / Ropa para feria o terraza

La versión en español está después de la versión en inglés.

I’m not ready to model my two new linen shirts but here are some in-progress photos of the terrace. The items on one wall are only there because there were existing hooks. I like where the two faces landed but maybe not the best spot for the stag horn mirror. We have a big mirror for the opposite wall that I’ll probably hang today. It will require drilling. The rug is Dudo’s. Both cats were out there when San Geraldo woke up this morning but they haven’t tried out the chairs.

El Corte Inglés is all set for the fair with dresses, shawls, and all kinds of jewelry. I couldn’t find a color to suit me. I probably should have had something custom made. Clogged head so far this morning. Hoping it will clear after a warm shower.

The temperature is supposed to reach 34˚C/93˚F today and 39/102 this time next week. The fair is going to be hot.

Probablemente debería haber mandado a hacer algo a medida. Tengo una cabeza atascada esta mañana. Espero que se despeje después de una ducha caliente.

Se supone que la temperatura alcanzará los 34°C/93°F hoy y los 39/102 la semana que viene. La feria va a hacer calor.

I’m always at my computer reading and commenting on blogs with my morning cup. I might have to change my routine.

    1. Debra:
Good for living in Córdoba that we don’t get direct sun all day. With temps of 40 to 45 that wouldn’t help. But we do now get late afternoon and evening sun which is really beautiful.

  1. I love those chairs, and they fit the space so nicely.
I’d be Coffee in the AM, Sweet Tea at Noon and Tequila around 5PM on the terrace!

  2. I would totally get a frilly dress and sit on the terrace in it. Next to you modeling your linen shirt. I bet you’ll spend a lot of time out there. It’s lovely. Great choice of furniture. Boud.

    1. Boud:
The chairs are so solid and comfortable, too. Time to start using them.

  3. Oh yes!!!!! I love the whole vibe of the terrace!!! Very nice.

And I think I could rock out most of the dresses in the picture. I even have wigs selected already!

    1. Mistress Borghese:
Oh, you’d have to go to a boutique and have a custom number made. Wouldn’t want to waste those fabulous wigs.

  4. That first photo has ALL the good colors in it.
You chose well on the terrace furniture. It looks perfectly natural there and it flows well from the furniture inside.
I am looking forward to the linen shirt modeling. Linen is the best in climates like ours. I wear a LOT of it.

Jacaranda trees are blooming now all over the city. Ahhhhhhh. I love linen, but hate ironing. So, Merchi will have something else to occupy her time.

  5. I love the patio furniture! I would be spending a LOT of time out there. 102!! What is your humidity like?

  6. Love the terrace, Scoot! I could easily get lost in a good book for hours out there. I’d need a ceiling fan though. I like the dresses, too. I’d look like an anaconda digesting a cow if I ever wore one, but the colors suit my skin tone.

    1. Deedles:
The living room AC cools the terrace. What you need is a half naked man with a palm frond. You would look stunning in one of these dresses.

  7. I adore the Flamenco style – such fun frocks!

That terrace looks very welcoming – as you might, guess, of course, I’d have it filled floor-to-ceiling with plants… Jx

  8. For some reason, I thought you and SG would have a beautiful bistro table with two comfy chairs. However, your wicker (or rattan?) furniture has transformed the enclosed patio into a nice nook for coffee or hangin’ out with the boys!

    1. Tundra Bunny:
We had 4 chairs and a larger bistro table. But we never used it before nor would we likely use it now.

    1. Judy C:
Yes, the one negative everyone points to about Córdoba. It’s why Fuengirola goes almost entirely Cordoba in August.

  9. I would love to sit on your beautiful terrace with a glass of wine and a good book, looking out over that glorious view! Preferably with a cat on my lap!!

SG has binoculars and birding books at the ready, too. Such a nice spot.
