I haven’t been doing much of anything in recent days. Laundry is always a satisfying accomplishment. Taking out the trash in the evening ranks right up there, although San Geraldo took it out last night after I bagged it up.
I woke up at 9:25 this morning. I closed my eyes for a moment and it was 10. I’m in a mood. This, too, shall pass, as they say. I’ve decided to just let it take its course. Soon it will be time to open a new window and open a new door. For the time being, I hope you like these old, mostly closed ones.
At top is a photo of a really big tomato (in case you weren’t sure). Below, watch that first step; it’s a doozy.
No he estado haciendo gran cosa estos últimos días.

Nice Knockers! Would Chuck know the next line?
David:
Chuck never saw the movie. He would have been uncomfortable with Peter Boyle’s portrayal of the monster. I loved the movie but that characterization made me squirm since it mimicked some individuals with disabilities we both knew. It unfortunately put a damper on the experience and would never suggest he see it. He definitely would have laughed at some of it… like nice knockers.
Those sloping thresholds. Built on a hill I suppose. Boud
Boud:
Even the slightest incline.
Such beautiful doors, loaded with artistry and personality, so unlike our bland doors over here.
Debra:
On some houses, they’re the only unusual detail.
Nice knockers and a huge tomato!
Bob:
That’s was some sweet and juicy tomato.
Now THOSE are doors!!
Jim:
Aren’t they beautiful?
Your door photos are most pleasing, esp. the Puerta de la Ribera.
wickedhamster:
The bougainvillea was perfect.
Big tomato, and I know that it actually tastes great… what a treat!
Beautiful doors. It makes me happy to see them. Hoping you’ll feel less in a mood soon.
Judy C:
These are the days that make me appreciate the other days. Oh well. Today, so far, feels a bit better.
I see what you mean about that first door! I wonder how many unsuspecting guests have fallen headlong down those stairs? An endless variety of doors – Spain’s architecture is fascinating… Jx
Jon:
That door is an accident waiting to happen.
The moods. I am sorry.
M. Moon
Mrs. Moon:
Oh well!
Is that tomato going on a hamburger?
Kirk:
SG serves the tomato slices as a side dish.
I actually find folding laundry very therapeutic. Yes, just go with the flow and this too shall pass. Puerta de la Ribera is my favorite!
Kelly:
I fold the laundry on the roof before I put it in the laundry bag. Not as relaxing, but nice to be outside in the sunshine and the view. Yes, the bougainvillea around the beautiful door is stunning.
Wow, that’s the biggest tomato I’ve ever seen! No wonder SG had to pay so many Euros for it.
I love how solid and fortified the Spanish doors are that you feature. They look like they could withstand a battering ram, though the Vikings would have gotten a helluva surprise at the first one, LOL!
Tundra Bunny:
That’s a different tomato, even bigger. I don’t think it cost €5! Can you imagine storming that house? I know Vikings raided Seville but I don’t think they ever made it to the city of Córdoba. It would probably have been Christians taking the fall.
Love the doors! Okay, not the setup for the first one. Coming up the stairs would be no joke. Restful thoughts, Olivia
Olivia:
There’s got to be a better solution for that entrance. I would not want to ever use that door!
I like the little metal birds on that one simple wooden door. Here’s hoping your mood has dissipated like fog!
Steve,
Yes, I love the touch of the birds. Better day today. Thinking of you.
I am mad-jealous of the tomato. It’s late July and I probably won’t get any proper toms this year. I miss them so.
Urspo:
We’ve been surprised by the delicious tomatoes SG has been getting at the supermarket.
