Put on your travelin’ shoes / Ponte tus zapatos de viaje

La versión en español está después de la versión en inglés.

We are heading down to the beach today. We’re finally returning to Fuengirola to see friends. We chose a good weekend. Temps are in the mid-30sC/high 90sF here and in the mid-20sC/mid-70sF there. Four days of sea air and missed friends. We pick up our rental car at the bus station in less than 3 hours. I’d better finish packing. And beautifying (although not much can be done in three hours).

• The bus station with train station across the street (background).
• La estación de autobuses con la estación de tren al otro lado de la calle (al fondo).
• And we can even grab some seasonal snails while we wait for our car. (Oh, never mind.)
• Incluso podemos atrapar algunos caracoles de temporada mientras esperamos nuestro coche. (O no).

  1. I wondered if Fuengirola might be the destination before the summer heat of Cordoba strikes. You’ll be tourists! I hope you dress accordingly in wild clashing patterns. No? Too bad. Boud

  2. There can be a sort of joyfulness in being a tourist in a place where you’ve once lived. Oh, DO have fun! It’s time for that.

  3. Snails!!!!! I’m not eating anything I can scrape off my shoe, yuck!

I too am having a 5-day jolly to the beach. I’ll be departing after work Friday. Have a wonderful time till next we meet.

  4. Oh boy! (What’s a good Spanish expression for that, Mitchell?)
    Enjoy your beach time. Fun!
The photos from the last post were gorgeous, by the way 🙂

  5. Have fun in Fuengirola, Scoot! Now you & SG can wear mismatched clothes like the other tourists, LOL!

  6. Yay!
Nothing like the beach when it’s hot.
We are in the forties at night and sometimes in the seventies during the day here.

    XOXO
