SAN GERALDO’S COUSIN Ellen, from Bergen, Norway, is in Málaga this week with her dear friend Ulla, and they spent an evening with us. They planned to take the train but at the last minute took a taxi. We waited at the train station until a text message arrived from Ellen. We then waited at a nearby hotel.
After mojitos at the hotel bar, we went to Mesón Salvador (of course) for a superb meal and lots of love. At the end of the meal, San Geraldo’s café con leche arrived adorned with a chocolate sauce heart. Although Sergio had drawn a heart in chocolate and raspberry sauce alongside my brownie, my coffee arrived unadorned. And, ingrate that I am, I complained. So, he took it away and “adorned” it.

LA PRIMA DE San Geraldo, Ellen, de Bergen, Noruega, está en Málaga esta semana con su querida amiga Ulla, y pasaron una noche con nosotros. Planearon tomar el tren, pero en el último minuto tomaron un taxi. Esperamos en la estación de trenes hasta que llegó un mensaje de texto de Ellen. Luego esperamos en un hotel local.
Después de mojitos en el bar del hotel, fuimos a Mesón Salvador (por supuesto) para una excelente comida y mucho amor. Al final de la comida, el café con leche de San Geraldo llegó adornado con un corazón de salsa de chocolate. Aunque Sergio había dibujado un corazón con salsa de chocolate y frambuesa junto con mi brownie, mi café llegó sin adornos. Y, como soy ingrato, me quejé. Entonces, se lo quitó y lo “adornó”.
