There’s an old American expression credited to a man named Yogi Berra, baseball player and, later, manager and coach of the New York Yankees. Yogi was famous for his malapropisms. One famous quote:
“It isn’t over till it’s over.”
Knowing that to be true, we went to Málaga to see the annual Christmas light show on Calle Marqués de Larios. I usually watch the show from the south end of the pedestrian mall. This year I moved us to the north end at Plaza de la Constitución. As Yogi also said:
“If you don’t know where you’re going, you might not get there.

look at the two cuties! HNY!
what a light show you get to watch for free.
and yogi bear – how can you NOT love a face/man like that? even though he did play for the yankees…
anne marie:
Well, I grew up a Yankees fan. Now I really don’t give two craps which multi-millionaires play or win. Besides, baseball is 90 percent mental; the other half is physical.
If you don’t know where you are going, any road will take you there. What a wonderful place we are.
David:
We have deep depth.
I enjoyed the video — beautiful and spectacular! And what a great selfie of you and San Geraldo!
Debra:
I loaded two more videos to Youtube. They play three songs in all. Thanks re the selfie. We both really like it.
That selfie of you two beats any light show 🙂
Deedles:
Thanks! We were both really pleased with that shot. A miracle.
Between the light show I featured and now yours….there are some entertaining things to see. I saw this one on instagram. I think it’s so cool. And you two handsome things.
Mistress Maddie:
Yours was especially amazing. Made me want to go back to Sevilla to see theirs, which is done in the same style (and technology). Incredible.
I love those lights, and you two are totes adorbs!
Bob:
Wow! That sounds like “Jerry French”! Moan Doo Moan Doo Moan Doo.
You surprised me. When I first saw the title in my sidebar, I thought it was either going to be about transcendental meditation or a cartoon bear.
Kirk:
Than my job is done.
What a wonderful photo of you both !
Happy New Year
cheers, parsnip
Parsnip:
I like to have shots of us to commemorate some of these vents. Have a few New Year’s shots since coming to Spain and I love them.
Fantastic light show!
GO YANKIES GO! (even though I am a Red Sox fan)
Great photo of you guys!
Jim:
The only reason I’ll back the Yankees is because their The Kid Brother’s team. (The Mets were his team after winning in 1969… until they started losing some years back! Fair weather friend.)
A perfect vantage point for the lights – way better than fireworks. And the both of you are spectacular and also better than fireworks. Cheers!
Wilma:
Aw… and I still see fireworks when I look at Jerry… and not just when he snores.
