Bad to the bone / Malo hasta los huesos

La versión en español está después de la versión en inglés.

Friday, I went to the Automobile and Fashion Museum. I took the train to Victoria Kent Station which is two stations before the old center of Málaga. The museum is about a 20-minute walk from the station, which is great except that I had blisters on the bottoms of both my feet from an old pair of Ecco sneakers (trainers) I wore the day before. The sneakers have been retired (it was time).

It was a stunning day. Another great day for a walk. I took photos of some of the sights along the way, which I’ll share another time. Today’s photos focus on fashion. Sort of. Custom-designed skulls are coordinated with clothing by Dior, Valentino, and more. I really didn’t care who they were wearing. I loved the skulls. Here are eight for your review. I have a favorite. I’m curious to know which one is yours. I need that loveseat.

.

Realmente no me importaba a quién vestían. Me encantaron las calaveras. Aquí hay ocho para su revisión. Tengo un favorito. Tengo curiosidad por saber cuál es el tuyo. Necesito ese sofá de dos plazas.

That one grew on me. I at first found it off-putting. (My fave was the green.)

  1. My favourite is the green-turquoise one with the the fox pin on the forehead. It seems ethereal, yet organic and feminine to me!

    1. Jon:
I was immediately struck by the green-turquoise one. I was turned off by the spiky one, but the more I look at it the more I like it.

  2. I love skulls. There are things about several that I really like, but I think the third one (blues/greens) is my favorite. (number 5 is the runner up)

    1. Kelly:
I don’t tend to like skulls much, but I did these. And, like you, the 3rd was my favorite. I like the rose between the teeth of the last one.

  3. I like the green one with the blue eyes and fox/owl on it. It’s creepy, but elegant. Scoot, no one, and I mean NO ONE needs that loveseat! You do you .

    1. Deedles:
That’s muy favorite, too. There were a couple of other pieces of furniture that would go well with the loveseat — as long as they were in other rooms.

  4. The pink love seat belongs in a bordello so I definitely want it in my living room. My favorite skull is the one with the golf ball eyes that have diamonds. I hope those are real diamonds.

    Love,
    Janie

    1. janiejunebug:
Oh, I’m sure they’re real diamonds — and pearls, too. Imagine the size of those oysters. When I was around 11, I had a friend whose parents had a loveseat (more traditional, one of those twisty ones so you could be face to face, in a similar color). And that wasn’t the friend who we learned years later ran a bordello (after the kids were out of the house).

  5. Yikes!!!!!! None of them!!!! Or the ensembles either!!!!! Skulls creepy me out. But if I had to pick one it would be the green jeweled one with the turquoise eye ball. And that loveseat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!???????????? What in the blood and stomach pills?!?!?!?

*runs from the room in horror of it all*

    1. Mistress Borghese:
I’m not much of a fan of skull art either. But I did especially like the green-turquoise one. I have more furniture to share!

    1. Ron:
Yep, I loved that one immediately, and I’m not a huge fan of skull art.

  6. I’ve never been a fan of skulls as part of fashion, unless your a bad-ass MF comic character like the Ghost Rider or the Punisher, so I’ll let you have all of these outfits…but I get the sofa!

    1. Sassybear:
I’m also not a fan of skulls as art or fashion. But I do like that green-turquoise one.

  7. I was going to say the green one, and I see above that’s the one you went for too. I like the spiny one too, though. I think I’m gonna let you have that loveseat. 🙂
