I have some things to tell you about, including San Geraldo’s progress with his drawers, a great dinner at Mesón Salvador, a new pizza at Pizzeria Primavera, an afternoon in Málaga with San Geraldo, and things I’ve found while getting organized for our departure to London on Friday. But the boys have taken center stage today.
After a recent poor night’s sleep, I had a late-morning siesta the other day. Dudo and Moose decided to join me, but not because they love me. It was almost time for treat number 2 of 5. You can see below how things progressed. The final photo was later in the day when I disturbed Dudo’s siesta. At the moment, they’re sitting on the floor in my office, both whining for treat number 3 of this day.

Relentless, aren’t they.
sillygirl:
They certainly are. Dudo DOES give up after a while. Moose will meow incessantly for 4 hours if he has to.
Such unruly, rude, profane and absolutely adorable felines!
Bob:
Thank goddess for the adorable moments.
NO escaping those eyes! lol And that ‘finger’!!
Jim:
Dudo has a stare filled with judgment that’s impossible to ignore.
Did you, in fact, get ANY sleep? Hahahaha, I thought not!
Debra:
Not one minute.
Turning a snarl into a yawn.
Raybeard:
I love when that happens and the sound it makes.
Even Dudo seems surprised by Moose’s behavoir.
Kirk:
You’ve got their identity’s reversed, but you’re absolutely right. Moose is usually the loud and annoying one. Dudo took over that time.
I laughed out loud when I saw the finger. Cats!😻😻
Robin:
Doesn’t the expression on his face make it look like that’s exactly what he was thinking?
Spanish cats, that speak Brooklyn sign language.
Anon:
They’re bi-lingual.
Oh this was me,
David:
Good to know. Sorry for calling you Anon!
Wow, that cat is totally flipping you off! Dudo always looks more intense than Moose. Moose seems very serene.
Steve:
Dudo has a much more intense (and judgmental) personality and is much more active. But I wouldn’t describe Moose as serene. He starts meowing at 6 in the morning and doesn’t stop until he gets his first treat of the day. Incessant meowing for 2 hours or more. He follows us around the house non-stop, as well, even when he doesn’t want a treat.
Ha! Well, he fakes serenity well, let’s put it that way. 🙂
Steve:
Exactly. I had a druggie friend at college who was convinced I was “laid back.” I faked it well and he was always too stoned to notice.
I guess he told you! 🖕 (I don’t get a lot of opportunity to use that emoji) I laugh about their appointed treat times, but I can’t say things are any better here with Pat and his dog cookies. They rule our lives.
Kelly:
The treats were first once a day. Then twice. Then 3 times. Then we decided, because Dudo remains underweight, that 4 times a day would be helpful for him. Which is why they now get them 5 times a day. Every 3 hours, although they start asking for them every hour and a half.
AHAHAHAHA! Dudo sure speaks his mind while Moose is just, “What he said”…. And I can’t believe Dudo flipped you the bird — such rude ingratitude!
Tundra Bunny:
Dudo is definitely the boss of me. Moose usually doesn’t shut up. I think he was shocked by how outspoken Dudo was being. He didn’t have to utter a mew.
Whose bed is it? Ours! Pfft! to you.
dinahmow:
They even share an office chair with San Geraldo sometimes.
Hahahaha! Love “the finger”. Dudo, you are turning into a Punk – it’ll be a Mohican haircut next! Jx
Jon:
And a nose ring.
Ahhhhh, can’t get enough of these guys!
I’m excited to hear about your other great things to tell us about, and super excited about your upcoming trip to London. I always love to see the hotel people stay in, too, so don’t leave that out! 🙂
Judy C:
I promise to share all. We’re staying at a Radisson Blu and are hoping there’s actually room to walk around the bed and someplace to put our clothes. Dressers seem to be a thing of the past in most hotels.
Those cats — how can any living being look so simultaneously guilty and innocent?
Anon:
If only they could teach me.
Just like a cat, eh?
Walt the Fourth:
I love you because I want something!
The boys are going to be PISSED if you leave for a few days! 🙂 Who’s watching them while you’re in London?
Jennifer
Jennifer:
Isabel and her daughter are house-sitting. We’re so lucky!
I misinterpreted el progreso de San Geraldo con sus cajones as something else.
Urspo:
A friend of a friend arrived in South America for study, saw a bunny rabbit, and excitedly squealed “Me gusta cojones!” She was never forgotten.
