I did some last-minute shopping for today’s dinner and now I’m busy washing serving dishes and glasses, and polishing silver. So just some random photos today from my time spent with David and Jay in Málaga recently, plus two images closer to home (well, the final one at home, actually). I hope you’re all having a great Saturday whatever you’re doing. As for me, it’s back to the sink.

Hice algunas compras de última hora para la cena de hoy y ahora estoy ocupada lavando platos y vasos, y puliendo plata. Así que solo algunas fotos aleatorias de mi tiempo con David y Jay en Málaga recientemente, más dos imágenes más cerca de casa (bueno, la última en casa, en realidad). Espero que todos estéis teniendo un gran sábado, sea lo que sea que estéis haciendo. En cuanto a mí, ha vuelto al fregadero.

• The Soho neighborhood. That’s the stage door (at right)to the Soho Theatre. If you’re lucky, you might bump into Antonio Banderas.
• El barrio del Soho. Esa es la puerta del escenario (a la derecha) del Soho Theatre. Si tienes suerte, puede que te encuentres con Antonio Banderas.
• At the Port of Málaga. I’ll be showing the photo to The Kid Brother next week. He loves these things.

• This was an oratory built at the port of Málaga in 1649. It was converted into a chapel (I thought an oratory was a chapel) in 1719 and inaugurated in 1725. According to their signage, the first oratory was built in 1531 and destroyed during the siege of the Armada of Flanders. I’m confused because that siege occurred in 1487. I guess there was another siege I don’t know about. It was moved along the port before it became a chapel and moved again in the 20th century. Do you care?
• Fue un oratorio construido en el puerto de Málaga en 1649. Fue convertido en capilla (Pensé que un oratorio era una capilla) en 1719 e inaugurado en 1725. Según su señalización, el primer oratorio fue construido en 1531 y destruido durante el asedio de la Armada de Flandes. Estoy confundido porque ese asedio ocurrió en 1487. Supongo que hubo otro asedio que no conozco. Se trasladó a lo largo del puerto antes de convertirse en una capilla y se trasladó de nuevo en el siglo XX. ¿Te importa?
