IN HONOR OF SAN GERALDO’S birthday today, I’ve shared photos of beautiful flowers and exotic fruit — just like him — along with sweet chocolate chip banana bread surrounded by Mandarin orange slices.
The outdoor photos are from my 8-mile walk Tuesday. I decided to say, instead of “Happy birthday to you” or “Feliz cumpleaños,” “Japi berdei tu llu,” which is the intentionally funny Spanish-accented way of saying it. The flowers at top are what I picked up for San Geraldo on my way home from the gym today. And, will wonders never cease, we plan to go out for dinner tonight.
I finished uploading all our CDs to my desktop computer. I uploaded 57 over the first two days and the remaining 318 over the next five days. Although mindless, it wasn’t a good project for my slightly obsessive personality. I couldn’t stop myself from working on it. I bought a pair of JVC wireless earbuds. And today I created my first workout playlist. My iPhone has been synched and tomorrow I’ll try it out.
I’ll feed and water plants this afternoon, but first I have to text my friend Jessica. I had a very vivid dream early this morning. I said to Jessica (who is not a professional dancer), “Go ahead. You can do anything.” So she auditioned as a dancer for Antonio Banderas. She did three little steps and he said, “You’re hired!”

EN HONOR DEL CUMPLEAÑOS DE San Geraldo hoy, he compartido fotos de hermosas flores y frutas exóticas — como él — junto con un dulce pan de plátano con chispas de chocolate rodeado de rodajas de mandarina.
Las fotos al aire libre son de mi caminata de 8 millas el martes. También decidí decir, en lugar de “Happy birthday to you” o “Feliz cumpleaños”, “Japi berdei tu llu”. Las flores de arriba son las que recogí hoy para San Geraldo de camino a casa desde el gimnasio. Y, nunca cesarán las maravillas, planeamos salir a cenar esta noche.
Terminé de cargar todos nuestros CD en mi ordenador. Subí 57 durante los primeros dos días y los 318 restantes durante los siguientes cinco días. Aunque sin sentido, no era un buen proyecto para mi personalidad ligeramente obsesiva. No pude dejar de trabajar en ello. Compré un par de auriculares inalámbricos JVC. Y hoy creé mi primera lista de música para ejercicios. Mi iPhone se ha sincronizado y mañana lo probaré.
Esta tarde alimentaré y regaré las plantas, pero primero tengo que enviarle un mensaje de texto a mi amiga Jessica. Esta mañana temprano tuve un sueño muy vívido. Le dije a Jessica (que no es bailarina profesional): “Adelante. Tu puedes hacer cualquier cosa.” Así que audicionó como bailarina de Antonio Banderas. Ella hizo tres pasitos y él dijo: “¡Estás contratada!”
