San Geraldo usually gets out of bed around 8:30. I usually rise a bit later. But, once SG is up and has cleaned the litter box and given the cats fresh dry food and water, Moose decides it’s time for me to get up and give them their wet treats. Moose begins meowing outside the bedroom door. He might push the door open so he can be seen, but he rarely comes in. He just sits outside the door and stares at me. Meow [wait a beat] Meow [beat] Meow [beat] Meow [beat] Meow [beat] Meow [beat] Meow [beat] Meow [beat] … He can go on for an hour (more if I can tolerate it). I often fall back to sleep only to be awakened again and again. This morning at 9:30 I awoke from a dream. A peculiar collection of musicians and musical instruments were performing, “Hold that Tiger.” It took me a moment to realize Moose was singing the refrain. Hold that tiger, meow, hold that tiger, meow, hold that tiger, meow, hold that tiger, meow, hold that tiger, meow, hold that tiger…

We had dinner with Nick and Alyson last night at Mesón Salvador. A perfect meal in perfect company. We met back at Mesón Salvador this morning for coffee and breakfast. Tonight we’ll meet for dinner out.

Tomorrow are my prep appointments at the hospital. With each passing day, I grow more edgy. I’m not nervous, just anxious to get things going. I’m so grateful to have Nick and Alyson here to share laughs and conversation this week. We never run out of things to do and talk about. San Geraldo has been shocking them I think with the history of his sexual exploits. He has finally admitted that he may have been at least a bit of a slut before he met me.

I’ll be talking with The Kid Brother tonight. I hope he can get his video to work. He hasn’t been able to for the past 2 weeks. I told him to go to T-Mobile for help, but he probably hasn’t. I don’t plan to tell him about the surgery because he’ll simply worry. I’ll tell him next week after it’s done. I let the office manager of his apartment know and gave her SG’s contact info.

I’m going to the podiatrist this evening before dinner to have my feet made beautiful before I go for surgery. I’d get a pedicure (something I’ve never done) but all the neighborhood spas allow their pedicure customers to be fully visible from the street. Not my style. There’s even one of those places where you put your feet in a fish tank and the fish eat away. I think that’s disgusting. Putting my feet into the same tank that’s already contained someone else’s stinky feet? Who knows where those fish lips have been!

San Geraldo suele levantarse de la cama alrededor de las 8:30. Normalmente me levanto un poco más tarde. Pero, una vez que SG se ha levantado y ha limpiado la caja de arena y les ha dado a los gatos comida seca fresca y agua, Moose decide que es hora de que me levante y les dé sus golosinas húmedas. Anoche cenamos con Nick y Alyson en Mesón Salvador. Una comida perfecta en perfecta compañía. Nos reunimos en Mesón Salvador esta mañana para tomar un café y desayunar. Esta noche nos encontraremos para cenar fuera.

Mañana son mis citas de preparación en el hospital. Con cada día que pasa, me vuelvo más nervioso. No estoy nervioso, solo ansioso por hacer que las cosas funcionen. Estoy muy agradecida de tener a Nick y Alyson aquí para compartir risas y conversaciones esta semana. Nunca nos quedamos sin cosas que hacer y de las que hablar. Creo que San Geraldo los ha estado impactando con la historia de sus hazañas sexuales. Finalmente ha admitido que puede haber sido al menos un poco putón antes de conocerme.

Hablaré con El Hermanito esta noche. Espero que pueda hacer que su video funcione. No ha podido durante las últimas 2 semanas. Le dije que fuera a T-Mobile en busca de ayuda, pero probablemente no lo haya hecho. No planeo contarle sobre la cirugía porque simplemente se preocupará. Le diré la próxima semana después de que esté hecho. Le informé al gerente de la oficina de su apartamento y le di la información de contacto de SG.

Voy a ir al podólogo esta tarde antes de la cena para que me arreglen los pies antes de operarme. Me haría una pedicura (algo que nunca he hecho), pero todos los spas del vecindario permiten que sus clientes de pedicura sean completamente visibles desde la calle. No es mi estilo. Incluso hay uno de esos lugares donde metes los pies en una pecera y los peces se comen. Creo que eso es repugnante. ¿Poner mis pies en el mismo tanque que ya contenía los pies apestosos de otra persona? ¡Quién sabe dónde han estado esos labios de pescado!
