I’ll be back at the ophthalmologist this afternoon and I’m expecting a green light (vivid green) to get back to my regular activities. It’s been two weeks since my cataract surgery and, as far as I can tell, all is finally well.
I met friends for coffee (I had a smoothie) yesterday afternoon and on the walk home around 6:30 I saw this view — distinctly, clearly, and in all its magnificent technicolor glory.

Such a pretty place, and great color saturation.
Anon,
And that is right out of the camera. No Photoshop. No special lenses. Just perfect timing.
That one would be me, it posted but not with my info.
David: Haven’t had time for a chat with WordPress. These commenting issues are frustrating. Thanks for sticking with me!
Mitchell! I’ve been missing your posts…I need to get a link to your new blog on my sidebar. I didn’t realize that you had had surgery. I’m sorry! I hope you’re recovering well. Hugs from your slacker blog friend! ❤
Jennifer,
You can also sign up for email notification. So good to see you here!
With the title of this post, I wondered where it was going!!! Beautiful pictures Mitchell
you have SUCH a dirty mind, maddie!
Mistress Maddie,
I can’t believe you would think that of me.
Happy to hear your eye is back!
Listening to your doctor and SG has paid off, eh?
LOVE these photos, Mitchell! And that hand/palm!!
Jim,
Perfect. A great visit with the doctor. And the photos amaze me. That was exactly how it looked at that moment. Absolutely no photo editing!
I prefer my own interpretation of your double-entendre post title.
another dirty mind!
anne marie,
And I was completely innocent myself. Maybe…
Debra,
Was that a double entendre? I had no idea…
Striking images of that sculpture – the lighting is very dramatic. I hope you can see the house today at your ophthalmology visit.
Wilma,
I told the doctor I saw the house … before I sat down in the chair. But once I sat down he didn’t even need to ask. He looked into my eye and said Perfect!
I hope you get a green light from the eye doctor this week!
anne marie,
Yes. All is perfect. Even better than I expected!
No way! That’s a REAL view? In real life!? That’s fabulous!
Judy,
And that is right out of the camera. No Photoshop! No color adjustments! Just beauty and perfect timing. And just across the street!
Love those fingers. A giant returning from the grave!
Kirk:
We’ve got two of these on our beach, a couple miles apart. Fuengirola doesn’t do a great job with their permanent public sculptures. This is one of the best and it can be purchased by anyone at a local statuary place.
