Brut Imperial

We went to Mesón Salvador last night for our anniversary dinner. Cristina, Alfonso, and Maria, and Elena, Tynan, and Paula joined us for the celebration. The two families had never met and it was a perfect mix. Conversation and laughter never stopped. The meal was, as usual, perfect. We finished with a bottle of champagne lovingly served by Anderson. A memorable anniversary. I forgot to mention: I have absolutely no pain.
Olvidé mencionar: No tengo absolutamente ningún dolor.

“no pain:” dear friends and excellent food are the best medicine. What a party!
Not that there was anything wrong with your younger photos, but you and SG have grown SO handsome over the years. Age becomes you! Hooray for the absence of pain!
That’s an absolutely fantastic photo of the two of you! Some people get even better looking as they age, and that’s true of you and your hunk from the pinball machines.
No pain before or after the champagne? If before, Yay! If after, yay. You two are quite beautiful or at least, very photogenic 🙂 Looks like such a fun outing. It must be nice to still remember your anniversary. I forgot ours. 48 years. Oh well, maybe next year. No, that will be our 50th high school reunion.

We never stopped smiling. Ages 4 to 74. We’re so lucky.
Yay! No pain! That photo of you and SG is so amazing. You both look so happy. It made me smile!

Aw, thanks. We both see older (not old, just older), but that’s OK

Mary:
It was such a happy (and pain free) evening.
It looks like a good time was had by all! And there’s no better way to celebrate than a nice dinner out with a few close friends.
Mistress Borghese:
A small enough group where we could all enjoy each other. Perfect.

Debra:
You can imagine the comments we make when we look in the mirror, but thanks!
So much fun, and pain free (or lots of champaign)
David:
I had too much to drink. A rarity.
Absolutely lovely!

It was a happy fest.
42 looks good on you guys! All the best. All the fun, food and friends ~ painless too!!
Ron Troke:
Can you imagine what people thought when they saw the “42” candles placed in front of SG?
Sounds like a fantastic evening. And no pain! Woo hoo!
Anderson seems quite proud of his champagne-opening skills. 🙂
Steve:
Well, we did all cheer him. And he didn’t realize I was recording. So cute.
What a beautiful Anniversary party, you see Champagne cures all, drink a bottle a day just like Churchill did.
Laurent:
The champagne would have been great had I not already had two gin & tonics.

Before! I am the beautiful reflection of my love’s affection. Happy 48th!
No pain and a fun gathering? Perfection, and well-deserved.
That said, Anderson’s smile is adorable.
Bob:
Yes, that’s one adorable smile. And an adorable human being, as well. He checked up on me while I was in hospital.
No pain, all gain! Woo hoo!
It’s just so much fun watching you and Jerry and your friends 🙂 Happy anniversary!

Yes! No pain! I can’t believe it. We’re still coasting on the joy of that evening, too.
Congrats, guys!

Thanks so much. When we met, I couldn’t imagine celebrating 42 years.
