I was back yesterday at Quironsalud, our private health center to see a dermatologist. Great, helpful, useful appointment. When I was leaving the center after Tuesday’s happy nephrology appointment, I looked out the hall window and stopped for a photo. It’s a cool building. That photo is the first one below. So, I stopped at a different set of windows this time and took in some more views. Then, while waiting outside for my taxi, I took a selfie. I could probably spend an hour experimenting with the views, but I only had a moment.
Tonight we’re going to the Roman bridge with Stacy and Shannon to watch a show “featuring 150 drones to recreate a Christmas story in Córdoba.” I’m sure it will be mobbed. I’ll probably have some photos and videos.

(No hubo abrazos).

Proof that public service building, can be very stylish.
David,
Beautifully done, I think.
I do love that building and as always I love seeing The Boys.
Merry Drone Christmas!
Bob:
Moose just walked into my bathroom, yowled for a minute, came in here and rubbed his head against my leg, and now he’s gone. I think he likes to hear the echo in the bathroom.
Oh, I haven’t heard the term “op art” for a long time! I LOVE your photos. You have such an eye for composition!
Debra:
I hadn’t thought of op art, but it’s what came to mind to describe the visuals. I would love to spend hours wandering in an outside for different shots.
Remarkable photos! Such an unusual design for a medical facility – it looks like something out of Barbarella… Jx
Jon:
Perfect comparison. I think it’s a very cool building. Very cool interiors, too.
Lovely photos, Scoot. I love how you can take something dreary (to me) and make it interesting. I’m not talking about the selfie or the cats when I say dreary.
Deedles:
Yeah, those dreary days of medical appointments can be perked up a bit.
The ‘boys’ have probably worked out a ‘Christmas pact’ just for the holidays!
What an interesting building with all those geometrics and angles.
Jim:
The building is fascinating at any angle and as the daylight changes.
Dude and Moose must know it’s almost Christmas and they’re behaving themselves accordingly! Lol! I can’t wait to see photos from the drone show.
Jennifer
Jennifer:
The drone show was a lot of fun. Video to come.
I think the cats are thinking Santa and better be good or at least a token of it. Boud
Boud:
Sneaky little buggers.
Wow, what cooooool photos, Mitchell!
Judy C:
Thanks. I really enjoy it.
Oh, I know you HAD to stop and get those images. Just way too many interesting shapes to pass up. I am so impressed that they’ve built such a gorgeous place as a medical facility.
Your cats have absolutely mastered the disdainful gaze.
M. Moon
M. Moon:
Oh, yeah. The disdainful gaze has been perfected here. I can do it, too!
I’m pretty good at one myself.
ool building and photos. Reminded me of a job we did for Sun Bank in Florida, 11 floors (I think) of an interior wall system. Over 1,000 3′ x 3′ glass panes with the same geometric pattern. To clarify, not the pattern of your building.
ellen abbott:
I would love to have seen that installation.
Wow! VERY cool building!
Rade:
It makes up (a little) for the medical appointments.
That IS a very cool building! I need to see a dermatologist again but getting an appointment here is akin to climbing Mount Everest in difficulty. (And takes even longer!) I’m sort of taking the unless-it’s-bleeding-I’ll-ignore-it approach.
Steve:
I waited 4 months I think for this appointment at our private medical center. While waiting I found a private practice that took my insurance. A complete waste of time. So, I kept this one. And it was well worth the wait. Public Health wait was even longer.
While the building is too modern for my tastes, I really like how you framed yourself in the selfie! As for Dudo & Moose, perhaps they’ve agreed to a fragile feline detente in hopes of a) delicious new treats or exciting toys from Santa, or b) avoiding Krampus?
Tundra Bunny:
I’ve got eclectic taste in architecture…. well, in everything. Conniving cats!
Those photos are great!
Those drone shows can be pretty impressive. I think they’ve taken the place of fireworks in some festivities.
Kelly:
A great, quiet, replacement for fireworks.
Wow, that building!!! Comment from hubby-the-philistinewhen I showed him: “Gives me a headache!” LOL
Diagonals on top of diagonals. Fantastic!
Kirk:
I love the views of the building and at different times of day.
I liked the cats most.
Urspo:
You always do.
Wow, what a beautiful building. Your selfie reminded me of a statue of Lenin, strange indeed, why did I think of that.
larrymuffin,
Why indeed!
