THE BANANA PALM in our back garden produces fruit every year and Maria Carmen, the portero’s wife (and the other love of Dudo and Musy’s life), showed me the latest harvest. She’s already removed some of the fruit, but is waiting for the rest to ripen. Then, while walking along the paseo, I saw that the city’s gardeners were doing their winter trimming on the beach. More bananas!
El PLATANERO EN nuestro jardín produce fruta todos los años y María Carmen, la esposa de nuestro portero (y el amor de la vida de Dudo y Musy), me mostró la última cosecha. Ya ha eliminado parte de la fruta, pero está esperando que el resto madure. Luego, mientras caminaba por el Paseo, vi que los jardineros de la ciudad estaban haciendo sus recortes de invierno en la playa. ¡Más plátanos!
