What’s so funny ’bout peace, love, and underwear?

It’s only 28˚C/82.4˚F, today’s peak. Although it was eveb cooler when I went to the dentist to have my teeth cleaned, the humidity is too high for my liking. It’s down to 44% from a high of 67%. Uf! The hygienist, Sandra, was exceptional. I love the feeling of clean and polished teeth. We both forgot about my new plastic retainers so I head back Thursday morning to have those impressions made.

Yesterday was a day for a long wander around the city center. No stomach problems, although the hip was aching by the time I got home. Given how I’ve been feeling lately, I’ve been spending too much time sitting at my desk and that’s what’s causing the hip problems.

San Geraldo recently bought a new chair that we both love and it doesn’t aggravate my bursitis/tendonitis when I use it, so he ordered one for me today. We’ve gone through a lot of chairs in the past 15 years. Stretching helps significantly, but the chair quickly undoes a lot of that good.

My walk yesterday, although creaky, took me to some wonderful neighborhoods, none very far from ours, although I did an awful lot of winding and meandering. One of my favorite ways to spend a day. Pretty soon, on a day when all is well, I’ll have some specific goals in mind in town. Like the royal palace.

This morning, as I was getting ready for the dentist (hobbling at times with the stupid hip), my stomach again acted up. I took two pills and made it through the dentist visit and didn’t have another attack (although I could feel it coming) until after lunch. I do finally have gastroenterology tests the end of this month. I also had a case of the dizzies (barometric pressure) but took a pill and was quickly steadier. I’ve started to become catastrophic in my imaginings (but only at moments). I usually leave the catastrophic imaginings to San Geraldo. He has a gift and can go from 0 to 60 in a split second. Sorry to be talking (whining) so much about health issues. It’s been kind of exhausting lately. Forget all that and come walk with me.
