WE HAD BREAKFAST AT HOME at 9. Since it was Isabel Day (the house is clean), we went to Mesón Salvador for coffee at 10:30. We had a second breakfast there at 11:15. At 1:30, we drove the 10 minutes to Bioparc Fuengirola (our world-class zoo; I wonder who verifies that; I guess I’ll look it up) where before talking to the animals, we had lunch. We then wandered the zoo and had an excellent time. In the past, I’ve either gone alone or with Luke, but I haven’t been for more than 2 years. So, it was really special to get to enjoy San Geraldo’s company. I’ll share photos of what we saw, but not today.
Today, I’m craving something sweet. Here’s what I found at the bakery on a recent visit. I still haven’t tried the merengues. I think I’ll offer to help them “do” inventory. All I need is a chair behind the counter (preferably on wheels) and a napkin. Click the images to increase the sweetness. And excuse me while I open another bag of chocolate chips.
Oh, I almost forgot to tell you! My permanent drivers license arrived in the mail yesterday. I’m stunned. I thought I’d have to schedule another appointment. Well, maybe I do. They spelled my name incorrectly. Still, getting that corrected should be easier than getting the license in the first place. Shouldn’t it?

TOMAMOS EL DESAYUNO EN CASA a las 9. Era el Día de Isabel (la casa está limpia), entonces fuimos a Mesón Salvador a tomar un café a las 10:30. Tomamos un segundo desayuno allí a las 11:15. A la 1:30, nos dirigimos al Bioparc Fuengirola (nuestro zoológico de clase mundial; me pregunto quién lo verifica; supongo que lo buscaré) donde antes de hablar con los animales, almorzamos. Luego paseamos por el zoológico y lo pasamos de maravilla. En el pasado, fui solo o con Luke, pero no lo he estado en más de 2 años. Así que fue muy especial poder disfrutar de la compañía de San Geraldo. Compartiré fotos de lo que vimos, pero no hoy.
Hoy, anhelo algo dulce. Esto es lo que encontré en la panadería en una visita reciente. Todavía no he probado los merengues. Creo que me ofreceré para ayudarlos a “hacer” el inventario. ¡Oh, casi me olvido de decirte! Mi licencia de conducir permanente llegó ayer por correo. Estoy atónito. Pensé que tendría que programar otra cita. Bueno, tal vez sí. Escribieron mi nombre incorrectamente. Aún así, corregirlo debería ser más fácil que obtener la licencia en primer lugar. ¿No debería?
