FUENGIROLA’S TENTH ANNUAL Ruta de la Tapa Erotica (Route of the Erotic Tapa) ran from November 1 to 18. Unlike in previous years, I had every intention of sampling at least 10 of the 72 erotic dishes being served up around town. The event includes a “Tapaporte” (a tapas passport) with a map of all the participating restaurants along with the names of their entries. You get your passport stamped for each tapa you try. The tapa is served with a drink, all for the price of €2.50. When you have ten stamps, you rate them on a scale of 1 to 5. All participants receive a gift and 20 lucky winners take home special prizes, such as a motorcycle, televisions, an LG computer, a weekend in Tangier, and more.
On the first day, I visited three restaurants. Off to a great start!
The event is over. All told I had: Three.
Oh well, Mesón Salvador was my first and favorite, and that’s all that matters. It was a “spermattack.” Don’t ask me. That’s what they called it. I leave the interpretation to you.
LA DÉCIMA RUTA de la Tapa Erótica anual de Fuengirola se desarrolló del 1 al 18 de noviembre. A diferencia de los años anteriores, tenía la intención de probar al menos 10 de los 72 tapas eróticas que se servían en la ciudad. El evento incluye un “Tapaporte” (un pasaporte de tapas) con un mapa de todos los restaurantes participantes junto con los nombres de sus entradas. Obtiene su pasaporte sellado para cada tapa que pruebe. La tapa se sirve con una bebida, todo por el precio de € 2.50. Cuando tenga diez sellos, califique en una escala de 1 a 5. Todos los participantes reciben un regalo, pero 20 afortunados ganadores se llevan a casa premios especiales, como: una moto, televisores, un ordenador LG, un fin de semana en Tánger, y más.

One year, Mesón Salvador did fried shrimp, quail eggs, and parsley… oh and mayonnaise. I’m sure you can imagine.
The salmon burger looks quite good. How many people sign up for this? That must be a lot of buckets.

The salmon burger was exceptional. I do think there are a lot of participants. In one hour at Meson Salvador, I must have heard 40 or more orders for “La tapa.”
